George Floyd and Derek Chauvin reportedly “bumped heads” while working security together at a nightclub years before their fatal encounter. A onetime coworker at El Nuevo Rodeo on Lake Street in south Minneapolis revealed the duo’s purported shaky history in an interview with CBS News. The tension, David Pinney told the outlet, “has a lot to do with Derek being extremely aggressive within the club with some of the patrons, which was an issue.

The owner of the club, Maya Santamaria, had previously told local outlet KSTP that Floyd and Chauvin overlapped shifts on popular music nights within the last year. Santamaria said that Chauvin stood guard outside, acting as the nighspot’s “off-duty police” for 17 years, while Floyd worked inside. She also said she was not sure if Floyd and Chauvin knew each other — but Pinney was confident they did. Pinney told CBS that Chauvin “knew him… pretty well,” referring to Floyd.

David Pinney's remarks echo claims made by Floyd's family that George's death was, in part, personal. David Pinney spoke to CBS News on Tuesday, the day Floyd was laid to rest, telling the outlet he worked at the El Nuevo Rodeo club with Chauvin and the 46-year-old who died May 25 when the former officer planted his knee on the handcuffed man's neck for nearly 9 minutes. Chauvin worked at the club when he was off-duty, usually sitting in his squad car outside the club. Floyd worked security inside.

Floyd's detention and death were caught on camera, with viral footage sparking widespread outrage on social media. In the video, Chauvin is seen placing his knee firmly on the back of Floyd's neck as he lies face down on his stomach, next to a patrol car. In the initial media statement after Floyd's death, the Minneapolis Police Department alleged that he was "under the influence," and that police were responding to a report of forgery. Police also alleged that Floyd resisted arrest. But many lawmakers in Minnesota and others have questioned the police account, pointing out that no video evidence shows Floyd resisting.

Chauvin is being held on $1.25 million bail, after he was charged with third-degree murder, second-degree unintentional murder, and manslaughter. Chauvin has yet to enter pleas to the charges against him, and his attorney has yet to respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment. The other three officers have not yet entered pleas and are being held at the Hennepin County jail on $1 million bail without conditions or $750,000 bail with conditions. Their lawyers also could not be reached for comment. Thomas Lane, 37, Tou Thao, 34, and J. Alexander Kueng, 26, were charged with aiding and abetting second-degree murder and aiding and abetting second degree manslaughter.

That certainly shines a different light on things. Makes it targeted or premeditated possibly rather than a race crime the leftard media has been flogging the story as.

And every law banning slavery was crafted and enacted by white men . Go figure .

TRUE DAT pgs!

T-bonesforbrains demonstrates yet again that his time at law school WAS MOSTLY WASTED!

They taught him NOTHING about how to construct a sound and logical argument!

Every race on Earth VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATED in Slave Trading!

Black Lives Matter bigots DO NOT want to talk about how their ancestors enslaved people from other tribes!

Nor do BLM bigots want to discuss how African tribal leaders happily SOLD OFF what Ebennezer Scrooge might have referred to

AS "SURPLUS POPULATION"!

One of the BIG DRIVERS OF CANNIBALISM in central Africa was related to a shortage of meat - and getting rid of the people

YOU DID NOT LIKE - was an easy way of getting a BIGGER SHARE of the available meat!

And we get the same pure as the driven snow CRAP from North American Natives who also captured and held slaves!

BLM bigots DO NOT want to talk about the human sacrifices practiced by Incas and Aztecs and others!

NOBODY wants to talk about how Hawaiian and other Pacific tribes used to BURY A SLAVE ALIVE at each corner post

of a new temple!

BLM and its LIE-beral ENABLERS are utterly SILENT about the fact that slave trading in The Sudan WAS ONLY TEMPORARILY

SUPPRESSED BY BRITISH OCCUPATION!

Once Sudan returned to independent status - THE SLAVE TRADE ALSO RETURNED!

And it is true that Sudan no longer exports slaves to the outside world - such sad creatures are held now only for local domestic use!

But Sudanese doctors have added a CRUEL NEW WRINKLE to the old slave trade- they NOW HARVEST ORGANS

FROM THEIR "PROPERTY"!

ALL LIE-beral policy is UNRAVELLING as the natural conclusion to its bigoted and selfish imposition!

The more power LIE-berals won - the more opportunity they had to establish their Welfare State and the more rapidly

ALL THE FAULTS OF REASONING AND LOGIC AND LIE-beral indifference to human nature and experience

were able to FULLY EMERGE - to the GROWING disgust and annoyance of voters and tax payers!

The English word "slave" comes from "Slav", the white Slavic people who were taken captive in their millions by Islamic slave traders. It was that Islamic slave trade which influenced the European trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Of course, you'll not hear this mentioned by the Lefties and MSM.

Yeah, so the word "slave" comes from "Slav". The Slavic people of Eastern Europe were captured as slaves by the Muslims of Spain in the 9th Century.

The Islamic slave trade of white Eastern Europeans was a major influencer of the trans-Atlantic slave trade.

Rewriting history.
Yep. Calling traitors traitors instead of heroes.

Interestingly, I frequently object to the term "traitor," because in the U.S., it has a specific definition. It's in the Constitution, Article III, section 3:

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

And that, quite specifically, is exactly what the Confederates did.

So anybody who says Donald Trump, or Joe Biden, or Hillary Clinton, or whomthefoxever, is a "traitor" is talking out his ass.

And anybody who says Lee, Jackson, Bragg, and their bunch weren't traitors is a f*cking idiot.
