I'm with you Ron! I keep a healthy little nest egg stashed in a book. I got a petty cash stash spot in the freezer, plus several jars of loose change.
at the safeway, b.c. hyro, the gas company, the gas station, b.c. medical, express vu,
b.c. tel., internet wireless charges, visa.

I'm saying that I invest it in groceries. Lots and lots of groceries. Ten days ago,
without some serious Tetrus skills, I wouldn't have been able to close the freezer.
My pantry is floor to ceiling. Looking at it when it's full make me feel good...like
squirrel.

We have cash in 2 banks as well as some interest bearing things, jars of coins, paper in wallets, and the like.
Shares in various companies from insurance to alternative energy companies. Some invested in wife's little shop and daughter's shop, kids' and our educations, various items around the house, the house and yard, etc.
