Yes, resoundingly, YES!

I'm also not the overly sentimental type, I don't cry at weddings, or during sad parts in movies, but that song often brings a tear to my eye. Lol. I guess it's just one of those profound, generation spanning pieces of music.

Good cal DG, Louis B Armstrong...

A little cliche, but one of the best songs I've ever heard...

Louis Armstrong: What a Wonderful World (Official -1967) - YouTube

Im told it was my grandfathers favourite song. They played it at his funeral in 1983.

When I was driving my New Chevy Van headed north on Golden State highway 5 in California in 1975

Just reading that line put this in my head.

My father used to play this on guitar a lot when I was a kid.

Kate Bush wrote Wuthering Heights, which has been named several times as one of the greatest singles of all time, when she was just 18 years' old and it is, of course, based on the 1847 Emily Brontë novel of the same name.

Ian Dury and the Blockheads would put on a stage show that could hardly be matched. Perhaps they were not the most classical of all Rock groups - perhaps their albums weren't the biggest sellers of all time, and their songs certainly were not the most covered by other acts. But that stage show they put on was among the very best, if not the best of all time.

Beautiful song and a beautiful person. Janis wrote her own songs and she reminds me of my little one who is also a writer. The folk scene of the seventies was packed with talent to me. Janis Ian, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, Gordon Lightfoot and so many others. I loved the lyrics of all of their songs and also the sounds of the acoustic guitar. At Seventeen was my favorite with Bridge Over Troubled Waters running a close second.
