I think most EU citizens recognise the fact that the EU is much more than just a trading bloc - it has aspirations to be a nation state in its own right, which means destroying the independence and sovereignties of its member states. Anyone who still thinks it is just a trading bloc are showing incredible ignorance.

I mean, why would something that is just a trading bloc have its own passports, flag, national anthem and parliament?
