If you like tail then come up to Canada and have a piece of tail that's beaver tail. It's warm to the touch and is real yummy.

We're seeing that with the intelligentsia leading efforts towards globalisation that perhaps "Canadian values" is pure chimera - something the cultural lads will harp upon, something the gov't oligarchs will harp upon to create funding and loyalty to the State, and little more than that.

http://ehealthforum.com/health/typing-in-my-sleep-t143424.htmlNo, I'll admit because of my sleep derivation, sometimes I do not read the post clearly.. so my comprehension is a little off.. maybe knowing this you could cut me a little slack vs riding me like a wild Bitch in heat.
Nah. I'm a Cannibal troll.

Speaking of intelligentsia.

What it means to be a Canadian is that you can say pretty much anything that comes to mind about what it means to be a Canadian, and be right.

More seriously, to me it means, as the constitution says, "peace, order, and good government," though I've become a little dubious about that last point lately (but compared to most places around the world, it's hard to complain much), and being in such a polyglot, multi-ethnic place with modern communications systems also means I have easy access to much of the best and most interesting of what the whole world has to offer, because it's in Canada.

I've had to modify that last thought recently. There was a time when I've had said "...easy access to the best..." but that's not accurate. Right now I'm Edinburgh, and there's nothing in Canada like the fabulous castle on top of a long extinct volcano that this city has. This is a fabulous city, and it's easy to see why modern scientific geology began here with James Hutton. Everything you need to see to figure out the basics is exposed at the surface within a few kilometres of where I'm sitting.

... Two, she has more contempt for cola swilling mouth breathing trolls than I do.

But coffee gives me nasty heartburn and worse gas, whereas Pepsi just has the effects related to its acidity and sugar content...

OK I was just joking: I only do the Pepsi for breakfast if I can't get a good cup of tea for my caffeine fix :p

Most of the stuff you get from restaurants and supermarkets is low-grade junk. Wifey bought a roaster a couple years ago and we've been trying out all kinds of good beans from a lot of different countries. And there are good beans and bad beans from any coffee producing country. ATM we have Jamaican Blue Mountain, Honduran Marcala, and Haitian Blue Pine all of which are at least GC quality.
We've tried a few Colombian, Brazilian, Balinese, and Cuban coffees. Both of us like French or Italian roast mostly, sometimes a medium roast depending upon the bean. Haven't tried Tanzanian peaberry yet, but I think that's one of the ones next on the list.

What? WTF are you talking about... please enlighten me as to your brilliant theory.

I'm just diying to hear this.....

Oops, my mistake..... I rep'd your post without good reason. Oh well.

You must be a God dam women.. I swear. Always trying for the last word.

Wow.... now the sexism comes out.

You know your arrogance really shows. I can see why you spend most of your time here; I think in person you would be quite unbearable and obnoxious.

Which could be said about a lot of members in here.

I've noticed that so far you have avoided responding towards your original post in here claiming Locutus copied your thread and us still trying to figure out wtf you're going on about..... and have since just decided to hi-jack the thread to attack everybody who doesn't understand why you decided to troll this thread & not contribute.

Contempt, yeah a word a hear lots from you Easterners for anything western.. lol

So not only becoming sexist, but also regionalist with generalized statements.

Anything Western? What would be considered "Western" compared to what's found in Eastern Canada?

$2.50, you sure you could afford it..

Then again, I think your mother might get a little jealous if I posted a fake girlfriend online in my Facebook. ;-)

Ha ha.... wow, dragging out personal insults & references to people's mothers...... you're really looking for a ban aren't ya?

Anyways, back on topic: I always found it odd how other countries try and tell everyone else what it means to be a citizen / part of a culture of a country they are not a part of.

I can't tell Brits what it's means to be Brittish anymore than Brits can tell me what it means to be Canadian..... all that comes out is generalized stereo-types laced with ignorance.
