Having a chopper land on you would qualify and it certainly changed their plans for the summer.

I'd have to agree with MHz, dying is probably the most frustrating thing about air travel.

I don't like the way the wings wiggle on the A20's.

-The wait at the baggage carousel. In Halifax, it's a short wait. In Calgary, it takes at least 15-20 minutes before it starts moving.
-Air travel. I always try to sign in early and get the emergency exit seat on Westjet. Great leg room!
-Holidays. The Christmas season is by far the worst. Snow storms, more traffic. Don't fly Air Canada anymore because they sent my conecting flight off: before schedule and before I landed. Bastards!
-Can't do anything about the fuel prices. A train ticket is: more costly, longer trip, and has less flexible schedules.

Already working in Alberta, so I don't really care, until I have to buy my ticket back...

Leaving the ground is frustrating. I enjoy riding around in airoplanes, if they
would stay on the ground, kind of a neat form of transportation.

Pointless security on international flights. Last time we were made to repack our carry ons into four bags instead of five, one had all the baby changing stuff in. Once through security replaced everything back the way it was while they watched. Not a word said, so it is only to go through the system you can have one bag each, after that as many as you please....pointless...:roll:

the most frustrating thing for me is that i can't afford to do it more often.

the tradeoff of a few annoying moments in an airport from time to time is nothing compared to the massive wealth of knowledge and experience one can gain from travelling.

people who whine about the trials of flying should suck it up, and remember that it's a luxury which provides them with experiences and insights they could never have otherwise.

I hate the cramped economy seats on long hauls. My neck always hurts when I try to find a comfy position to sleep. The worst is the 27 hour flight from Singapore to Texas or Canada. I feel jet-lagged and bloated like a pig!

I hate these long flights - either I'm getting bigger or more likely they are stacking more seats into aircraft and thereby limiting legspace. I cannot sleep on an aircraft and consequently if the combination of flights lasts 36 hours as it usually does to africa, I stay awake for that period.
I remember it being fun when I was younger but nowadays with increased security, smaller spaces, stale air, overworked flight attendants and I suspect that the increased price of fuel make them throttle back a bit, it has stopped being any fun at all. It feels like a cattle truck with a thinly disguised veneer of civility.
