managed to watch the second half of "Black Swan" ~ kinda reminded me of 'Cabinet of Dr Caligari' and am still wondering what real redeeming social value it has if any

Natalie Portman acted superbly though I thought the White Swan portion was a bit pretentious. Her portrayal of Black Swan was far more convincing and I wonder if a professional stunt dancer fulfilled that portion because her personal projection and execution of motion were quite captivating.
