Love those old shows!

Sweet! Loved the original nWo stuff! I didn't like the direction that WWE went with them when McMahan brought them there(after the WCW purchase). I loved seeing Hulk Hogan turn heel at Bash At The Beach and become "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan. Favourite wrestling group, bar none!:)

Thanks for posting the vid, goph!:)

Oh yeahhhh ......

They were the team to beat back then. Eric Bischoff at the helm. I can't recall the big fellow's name. He had a long goatee, and was huge! He was the "enforcer" of the nWo. Do you remember who it was, goph?:)

I even liked it when Sting was in the nWo. It seemed to fit him(when he was dressed like the guy from The Crow).:)

Scott Norton was a legit scientific wrestler and a power lifter. But he was more known for his brawling style. He is the only man in history to have defeated both Hugh Morrus and Jim (the Anvil) Neidhart in less than one minute.

I also loved the fact that he was strictly business. He rarely went into long speeches on the mic, and preferred to let his wrestling speak for him.:)

I don't know about you, but I wish I could go back in time and see the birth of the nWo at Bash At The Beach live, as a spectator in the crowd. The buzz would be amazing, as NO ONE expected Hulk Hogan to turn heel, especially then. It was a great move, though. He was turning stale, and that breathed new life into the character!:)

Scott Norton possibly the toughest guy to ever get inside the squared circle.

I watched Bash At The Beach on replay and you get a sense of very high tension during the watches, esp at the end. One guy even made the mistake of trying to enter the ring and attack Hogan. But he got his!

All of the nWo shows are now on youtube and I enjoy them immensely. They have quite a following to this day.

I'll have to check them out when I have some free time. Are there any particular ones I should be on the lookout for?:)

I thought the most fun were at the South Dakota bike fests. Real kool stuff!

Tonight ~ watched Syracuse defeat Pitt. Hopefully, this will be the start of the Orange returning to football prominence.
