My wife works for a real estate lawyer. The number of foreclosures has risen so much they have to hire two new lawyers to keep up with the demand. That's in Edmonton folks, in the land of opportunity. Housing starts have dropped like a stone in this city.

I was watching CTVNEWSNET as well as The Weather Network (why this was news for them, I have no idea) last night and they were saying that housing has definitely become a buyer's market.

I'm in Southern California looking to buy a condo. Almost all of the places I've looked at have been foreclosures or short sales.

So that's good for you! When are you moving? I hope it's a great place.
