I just made myself a vodka, fresca & blueberry juice. The fresca is my youngest daughter's fave, the TrueBlue blueberry is a treat for us parents and the Polar Ice vodka is...well, another treat. :p
Great summer drink with lots of antioxidants and vitamins. Alrighty then...

Smith is made in the UK. Tonight I am having a Nut Brown Ale.

Cheers!

Sam smiths isn't that popular in Britain - its generally only available in their own pubs and in my experience their pubs tend to be not that good. If you can find some over there try Oakham ales JHB or Bishops farewell - Oakham ales is a micro brewery based in Cambrideshire, the JHB has previously won the champion beer of Britain in the not so distant past.

Saturday nights drinking will mostly be Canadian Club and coke.

you see this mention of Their own pubs....we don't have this tradition in Canada...well these franchise kelsy , shoeless joes generic deals and the generic firkin "English Style " franchise deals......

But when a Brit talks about a pub there is this Mystique to it one just doesn't get over here.
cheers,
Raises a glass of backwash>>>the very end of a pint mate

I ain't a Brit Fella - Mississauga General is where I showed my ugly bonce, I have lived mostly in England apart from the odd foray into Europe since school age though;-)

The pubs in Britain aren't franchises as such in that there is not the macdonaldsesque feel of this is this and that is that, however they are trying to make it so though..which is a shame!

You can keep your dregs to yourself fella - backwash of a pint chap:lol:

Thanx for the prescription.

Tonight I had a large glass of Ferrari + Carrano Chardonnay (2005) while watching Aussie footy. Tasty but overpriced.

I'm enjoying a glass of Cassilero del Diablo Merlot. I'd highly recommend pretty much any wine from this Chilean vineyard, especially their Cabernet Sauvignon. Very good flavor, very decent price.
