In Ontario a lot of people make wine in brew-your-own shops. I am now imbibing some Gewurtztraminer (white wine), made in one of these shops.

I had purchased a box of a dozen Corrona earlier today and had only one earlier this evening but had no desire to drink more. This is very unusual and I'm worried about it. Somethings almost certainly wrong.

Sometime ago I bought some decaf coffee by mistake. And this morning I discovered that I ran out of the regular kind of coffee, so I had to drink that decaf stuff. The most useless thing in the world, in my opinion. I am just as sleepy as I was before I drank it :-|

Yes, that's always a mistake. I love good coffee, but coffee without caffeine is like no-alcohol beer. It tastes almost the same, but has no effect. I'm a bit of a coffee snob. I have an espresso machine, and an adjustable grinder, and several sizes of the French press coffee maker, and I consider them money well spent because I make the best coffee I've ever tasted. I have the equipment to make you a latté, an espresso, a Turkish coffee, an ordinary cup of coffee, anything you want. And I guarantee it'll taste at least as good as anything you've ever had. The grinder is the key; you can't make the best coffee without freshly ground beans.

I now have a little grinder, but I'm a terrible coffee maker, always tastes crappy. I did buy "kicking horse coffee' a while back, and it turned out better than any other coffee I've made in the past.
I drinkTim Horton's decaf, and it tastes the same as their regular coffee, as I can't drink regular
coffee past approx. 3 in the afternoon, or I'll wake up about an hour after I go to sleep, and be
awake almost all night.
Any advice on how to make a good cup of coffee would be appreciated.

The coffee here in Germany is terrible. :( Just so you know, its espresso that they make, but it is awful. Subsequently, we have to settle for instant coffee here at work. If you get the proportions right, it can start to taste like normal, percolated coffee. At the very least, instant coffee is higher in caffeine, but honestly thats a terrible optimism.

At home, we had an Italian espresso machine that my wife had bought when her home was still Italy, but it finally collapsed under the pressure and we couldn't quite fix it. When we went to visit her parents at Easter, we picked up a Moccha from a little shop that her family has an inheritance with. So at least now we have some actual, coffee.

As for how to make good coffee, you just have to experiment with the amount of coffee you use to the amount of water. I find it far easier to perk an entire pot of good tasting coffee than to make one or two cups of the same. If you find it too bitter, try using less. If it tastes burned, use a different bean. It takes some time, but eventually you will arrive at the ultimate Talloola coffee.
