There is no shortage of incredibly talented Canadian anthem singers in the NHL.
The Canucks have Mark Donnelly, who has skated around the ice while belting out our national anthem, and the Senators have the iconic Lyndon Slewidge, the retired Ontario Provincial Police officer whose version of ‘O Canada’ sends chills up your spine night after night.
But there’s a new girl in town.
Meet Briannah Donolo, a 20-year-old aspiring singer and model from Senneville, Que., who stole the show at the Montreal Canadiens-Boston Bruins game Thursday night.
Donolo sang the American and Canadian anthems, brought the house down in the process and melted the hearts of many spectators in attendance.
According to Donolo’s Instagram account, she’s currently working on an album and is a model with LOOK agency based in Montreal.

It looks like legendary Habs’ anthem singer Ginette Reno, might be second fiddle at the Bell Centre from now on.

Off to double OT..........Lu and Marc Andre are standing tall............OMH.......Lu just made a simply outstanding stop.

Okay now we off to Round 7.......and Marc blinked. Panthers win 3 - 2. What a great shoot-out. Barkov got the winning goal. Talloola would have been tres proud of Lu.

he has been having fun in shoot outs lAtely, went thru that 20 rounder not long ago, and won, then won
another one, now this one.

i watched the tribute to teamu salanne earlier, it was magic, and his #8 sweater was retired to the rafters.

he has 3 sons and the youngest is a daughter, he seems very comfortable in retirement, watches his boys

play hockey and his little girl 'do everything'.

jets are in anaheim for the tribute, and are now playing a very upbeat emotional game together. 3 minutes

left to play, score jets 4 ducks 3, and the ducks are pressing, hope the jets hang on to this one.

oh oh, ducks just scored, tied now with 3 mins left.

There are millions of reasons why Jack Johnson isn’t talking to his parents.
At least 10 million, more accurately.
The Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman hasn’t spoken with his parents since news broke late last year that the 28-year-old is dead broke.
Because of his parents – allegedly.
More details are beginning to trickle out pertaining to how and why the professional hockey player might have given his parents complete control over his financials.
In doing so, Jackson ended up eight figures in debt, according to a story by the Columbus Dispatch in November.
According to a Deadspin report, Johnson’s father convinced him to ditch his agent as a cost-cutting measure before putting his parents in charge of his money.
Despite Johnson earning close to $20 million since being drafted third overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2005, the report alleges Johnson’s parents wanted more.

They allegedly took out massive predatory loans to purchase cars, travel and pay for home upgrades, according to the report.
Court documents obtained by Deadspin indicate Johnson’s parents took out one predatory loan in excess of $1.5 million before essentially signing away Johnson’s deal with the Blue Jackets.
The report references anonymous sources who detail Johnson’s interactions with his parents.
According to one Deadspin source, Jack and Tina Johnson told their son they were making big purchases with an inheritance they had received.
Another source detailed how Johnson’s parents attempted to slow down his engagement to Kelly Quinn – sister of NFL QB Brady Quinn – because he was becoming financially independent.
Deadpsin claims that’s when his parents’ stories began to disintegrate.
Johnson filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 7, claiming less than $50,000 in assets.
According to court documents, Johnson claims his parents used his money without his knowledge.

yes, i heard of this a while back, it is very sad for the wholefamily, trust is such a precious commodity,
and when that is broken, it is very difficult to repair. i can't imagine how parents could ever even think
about such irresponsibility, and to their own son. hopefully he can play for a long time so that he can
rebuild his worth and pay back monies stolen from him.

nashville has been doing fabulousthis season, and now pecca renne is injured, a big blow to this team,
who depend on him big time, oh well, they might surprise everyone and step up for their back up, to
keep the good times rolling.

didn't see any of the rangers game tonight, had to go to a birthday party, and stuff myselfwith chocolate
cake and ice cream, that actually comes before hockey, especially when it is my grandson.

rangers were so strong for quite a while, so i guess it is bound to happen that they lose a few,

well, actually the worse one golfs, the more spine tingling it can be, it then becomes hunting,.

wow, minnesota defeated buffalo 7-0, first win for minnesota for a long time, but buffalo is an easy mark,
as they haven't done much either.

just watched winnipeg defeat dallas 2-1, dallas scored with a little more than a minute left, so it was
a war for that last minute, but winnipeg hung on to win it.

Blue Jackets out shot Broadway Blues 36-26. In the third period the SOGs were 12-2 in their favor as Rangers played tired but eked out a win thanks to great goal tending by King Henrik.

CBJ pulled out all stop with one of their players holding on to Carl Hagelin's stick and pretending he was speared. Earlier they had thug Dalton Prout start a fight with Kevin Klein but the latter was equal to the task of fighting off the thug and refused to be intimidated.

Hopefully this will be the start of a new winning streak for NYR.

yeah, a good win for the rangers, sometimes a win is just a win, not a great game by players, and
shows the good goaltending.

tonights game with canucks was similar, outshot all thru the first period, but they kept grinding
away, scoring one, then another then a third, as canucks good checking and good goaltending held
the day, and they came away with a 3-0 shutout

first time canucks have had two consecutives shut outs in back toback games on the road.

just watching winnipeg play chicago, game is tied at one in the second break, hope they cAn pull this
one out for the win.

happy to see that islanders ended up winning over pittsburg, score 6-3, those islanders have pittsburg's
number this season, i love it.

3rd period between winnipeg and chicago was a thriller, but jets skated to a
4-2 win, with hAwks pressing with goalie pulled, but jets scored in the
empty net to seal the deal.

anaheim and new jersey playing, looks like a pretty dull game, seems anaheim
will easily win this one, unless someone gives jersey a shot in the arm.

good for oilers, beat florida in a shootout, nail yakapov only shooter to score, that goal won the
gAme.

3-0 st. louis over toronto

2-1 for calgary over san jose- second period, And anaheim and l.a. are just getting started.

Lots of very hard hitting in this afternoon's match. The announcers said it reminded them of the classical rivalry these teams had back in the 70s/80s.

just watching calgary playing l.a., they are tied in the standings, has all the ingredients of a very
good game, end of the first period.

anything.

starting overtime - 3 on 3 because of 5 minute fighting penalties.

wow, wideman shot, hit the crossbar, called off, review showed it went
in and out, calgary won in overtime. 4-3
