Good puck passing led to many scoring opportunities. Gustav Nyquist (reputed to be one of the NHL's "nice guys") deliberately slashed Wild's Jared Spurgeon in the face. This was no accident though Nyquist did appear to be contrite, after the fact. It is a good bet that the league is going to impose a severe sanction on him.

actually, he did bleed - that's why he got a double minor per league rule: 2 for high stick, 2 for bleeding

I never saw any blood on the ice and the faker/'victim' was kneeling with his head down seemingly forever I think it was just a make-up by the ref.
The NHL belted Nyquist with big fine for his hit that resulted in loss of blood.
