The unknown is not measurable by the known. Time cannot measure the timeless, the eternal, that immensity which has no beginning and no end. But our minds are conditioned to the yardstick of yesterday, today and tomorrow, and with that yardstick we try to inquire into the unknown, to measure that which is not measurable. And when we try to measure something which is not measurable, we only get caught in words. Your thoughts.................

If people are caught up in something bigger and more powerful than what exists, then people are caught up in words. Me I don't get caught up in the forever and ever stuff. Have you ever
thought it might be that words are all there is?

I think you are simply trying to appear as deep and philosophical as Lao Tzu is said to have been. I have to admit though, that sometimes you state the obvious in very comical ways.
Everyone has a different style.

Well LG ,True , this is quote is not very hard to understand and there is really nothing philosophical about it ;that's obvious . Comical way....? you must be a comical guy .

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.” ~~ Dr. Seuss

I have to admit that I know nothing about Lao Tzu but I'll look it up.Thanks for a suggestion.
