What are the refugee benefits of which you speak? May I ask you? The USa just gives welfare benefits I believe, possibly not. Money if kids are involved food if not. I may have to look ours up!!! lol!!

According to officialdom, the allowance is supposed to be based on social assistance rates - $710/mo. for a single person. Worth noting, for a single person on Ontario Works, the maximum rate is about $550/mo.
