Video shows Philly officers kicking, hitting men

I live in Cherry Hill NJ now, about ten minutes from downtown Philadelphia. These three individuals that are getting pulped, had just shot someone else and were probably high-fiving each other as they drove away from their crime.
Philadelphia PD had just had an officer killed about a week earlier.
If I had been the camera man, I would have erased the tape.
Chris Rock did a nice bit on "How not to get your Ass kicked by the Police" Maybe these thugs should have watched it.
It is a very simple thing to have a peaceful encounter with Police, I've had several. Quite simply, don't be an ass, and don't shoot other people.
You cop haters go ahead and flame away, but those ****heads who got beat by the cops got less than what they deserved.

Like the dirty cops in the town I grew up in that dealt drugs and maced a 14 year old girl when she wouldn't "flash them her t*ts" as they drove drunk.
There are bad cops, lots of them, thats why Internal Affairs exists. There are no shortage of bad people who want a badge and a gun and there is not yet any human system devised to keep all bad people out of positions.
There are police who commit horrid crimes as sure as there are doctors who rape patients in their care.
Those cops were just shown to be those bad cops. For all you know, given their conduct of acting like thugs, they started the drug war.
Plenty of drug dealing cops in history.
I have no sympathy for dirty cops regardless of their passions. THEY GET PAID TO ARREST PEOPLE FOR BREAKING THE LAW, EVEN DUE TO THE PASSIONS THEY MAY BE FEELING.

I live in Winchester VA now, but 5 years ago I lived for 30 years outside the Philly area in Downingtown PA. I go back even before that to the days of Police Chief Frank Rizzo and his being Mayor after that. Rendell became Mayor and then Governor only because Rizzo died during his last campaign which resulted in 8 years of Mayor Rendell.
I can't imagine the life of a big city policeman. To me it's got to be surreal.

They might have gotten what they deserved as you see it, but the police are not employed to make that decision, let alone allow their emotions to fly off the handle and gang beat them while they're on the ground and cuffed.
That's just pathetic, and I'm not a police hater, as I've grown up surrounded by many RCMP officers who were close friends of my father and I knew them personally and respected them.
These goons on the camera are not police officers.... they're thugs.
