war is too barbaric .......and particularly for this era . The world is much smaller and must find alternative /constructive ways to resolve issues. dialogue with each other would be a place to start.

.......Just imagine if the US spent the same amount of megabucks on humanitarian purposes, as they do on their military........it boggles the mind to consider how much good can be done. Health research, scientific discoveries, New energies...

one has to wonder why the US a self proclaimed progressive country , insists on regressing into a former era ......and holding international progress back too.....by contesting everything or simply being disagreeable.

almost every society on this planet has moved beyond the war mentality. Seems if they have a military .......it is to protect themselves from the warmongering US. :evil:

Azerbaijan, North Korea, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine
and Israel, parts of Indonesia (Timor), parts of
the Phillipines, Serbia's Kosovo...

Still percolating: Spain's Basque's, Ulster, Peru's
remnants of the Shining Path, Columbia's drug lords,
Afghan drug lords...

All the peace protesters in the world won't
fix it. Most of these problems are too intense for
either the peace protesters or the war hawks to solve.
