I disagree. You just think it is better because there is more of it to choose from. It has something to do with having a larger population and consequently a bigger entertainment industry.

And it was kept out of Canada for 8 years.

I don't watch coronations street faithfully, but I do enjoy watching it. I don't know what it is about british shows, but they are just so well done, for the most part. My favourite show (dare I say, a guilty pleasure) is Keeping Up Appearances...
Hermantrude burned me a copy of black books and it is awesome. I enjoy the Office...the british version. What else do I like? Lots of british stuff. AND, british music...there is so much good music coming out of england these days.

If you mean Monk, and The 4400, I get those, as well as Dead Zone, on Space, a Canadian channel, so I don't get your point.
Yep! If you can catch a rerun of his roast. You'll see. Him and Sulu, big time. They make a few jokes back and forth during the show. I was shocked too!

The Dead Zone and The 4400 airs on the Canadian specialty channel: Space!
Monk airs on the CHUM owned network: A-Channel
So I guess all we are missing is WWE: RAW, House repeats, Law & Order: CI repeats, Law & Order: SVU repeats, and some movies
