Lets just call it a freakin big murder thingy, orchestrated by Joe the man.

And unfortunately it was hardly the only mass murder he inflicted on the inhabitants of the Soviet Union.

Zzarkov said it all very well. It could have been intentional famine, but even if it was, it was done to get greater power and control in the area, and not to get rid of the Ukrainians as a nation. One thing can be said for Stalin - he was an amazingly unbiased person. He didn't really care about the nationality of the people he was killing, just having sufficient victims was enough for him :angryfire:
