I cringe when I hear the words “creeping fascism,” “growing police state,” and “descent into totalitarianism”. Why? The police state is not coming – it is already here.

Depends on your point of view, I guess. It`s been at least five years since I`ve even had a cop so much as accost me, much less detain or arrest me! I would like to think that those who would do me harm would have something to worry about.
