I guess the type they were after don't usually shoot their way out...but then the arrestee may have had more to lose than they anticipated.

Of course I am just being conspiratorial here, but It may be that there are some child trafficking and foreign electoral interference EOs coming into play that might have gigantic consequences for the people involved. Trillions worth .
