WOW!! Dam near $500 from a tractor trailer to cross the ferry here.

Living on the Island must come at a premium...

Well at 11:00AM I will be standing on the side of the ship grabbing photos galore.

Then after my delivery down to San Diego again.. :)

BTW it’s about 45 F / 8C here short sleeve weather

San Diego 23 c / 73f Sweet.

Better than being stuck in some bottle depot

Re: Tsawwassen, BC

I do that run all the time sometime as much as once a month-we need a bridge.

Yeah I was wondering why they can build a bridge to PEI and not Vancouver Island..

Then again look at their Highway #1 Trans Canada.. what a joke

BC infrastructure is almost 3rd world in places.. sorta like the rest of the world doesn’t exists outside the Lower Mainland

It's been years since I've been on BC Ferries. Yes, Vancouver island is a little more expensive probably due to transport costs between it and the mainland and economies of scale on the island.

By the way, do they still sell corn chowder on the ferry? At least I seem to remember they sold that when I was on it years ago.

...and you never know when you might hit land and sink because the Skipper and the Navigator are having a shag ...

Does that happen often on BC Ferries? Sounds like they need a little discipline... no, no, I didn't mean the bondage and discipline kind of discipline.
