You seem to have captured the essence of the man.......;-)

strange that his "supporters" don't see it. or if they do.....think it is acceptable.....when standards for a POTUS should be a lot higher than that.

Or things have changed so much that standards and ethics and credibly don't matter anymore in the US.

Personally I don't care about his tax returns.........but I find his attitude deplorable. Why does he have to hide behind his lawyers so much .........and why is the legal system so prevalent in this administration.?
Yeah, he's lowered the bar as far as standards go as far as it can be lowered. About the only thing he hasn't been seen to do yet is murder someone.

Yeah, I don't care so much about his tax returns either just what they may reveal about him we don't already know.

Sorry , just having fun . But really someone like Bush whose family is into so many ventures their personal return shows not much . The dirt will be in the affairs of those ventures , and are they included in the required return release ? Probably not I would think , remember Warren Buffet proudly proclaiming that his secretary pays more tax than he does ?
Warren Buffett also pays a lot more to charity.

If there are illegalities the IRS would flag them and pass them on to the authorities. Fifty years of returns and crickets from the IRS.
Like I said, maybe they already have and are penalizing him for it. They don't always throw someone in jail for tax defaults.

"certainly show tax returns if it was necessary."
Since where is it "necessary"? To who? The IRS? (which we are sure he did)
You'd have to ask Trump because he's the one that said that.

I agree. You are a funny dude.

trumphayers can misconstrue all they want apparently...HaHa.
YOU people are far worse than trump is BY FAR!!!
I blame the juice.
Sorry. I don't hate Trump. Such a failure is to be pitied, especially one like him who pparently doesn't think he needs help to be better.

Nor do I..........I just think he is totally wrong for the job of POTUS. That position requires someone with at least a modicum of decency, integrate, intelligence, diplomatic skills and COMMUNICATION skills. His boastful art of the deal is not what he makes it out to be.........and is not appropriate in government. He does not negotiate.....he THREATENS.

Very authoritarian .....

GDP growth slower than Obama. Unemployment rate dropping at the same rate as that under Obama. Non-farm payroll job growth marginally poorer than Obama. Federal deficit exploding while Obama was reducing. Foreign trade balance better under Obama. The only significant benefit under Trump is the better increase in median household income and wage growth. Of course that’s easy to do when you spend like a drunken sailor and is not sustainable. Obama > Trump in almost every measurable economic indicator.

Now, if you want to look at foreign affairs, the military, the environment or just about any other yardstick, I’m hard pressed to think of a US president that isn’t better than Trump

he didn't say it proudly - he said it as a matter-of-fact as part of his pitch to impose a minimum tax rate on the highest wage earners.

your have a boundless talent for misinformation

Shitty Trudeau leadership isn’t an excuse top accept shitty Trump leadership. I do understand your desire to deflect though.

Turdoh's no worse that Trump, Canada is no worse than the USA, and money ≠ a complete life. It's not nearly as crowded here as the USA, the scenery is better, so is the air and water, we don't have to spend a fortune on health insurance, our healthcare is decent (I just looked that up and https://www.usnews.com/news/best-co...-the-most-well-developed-public-health-care-s
Hubby and I are staying put. You wanna move to the USA, go right ahead.

An evil member of the church of 1% , don’t you hate those successful guys ? He also donates heavily to charities that lobby against pipelines to keep his rolling stock running .
So how much does your hero, the orange dude, give to charities? (I mean out of his own pocket, not his companies' pockets).

Yes our health care and social services are wonderful ,,and we are benevolent and giving . However that generosity of fairness and equality costs us 50% of our collective labour , yet we still can’t live within our means . Aren’t we wonderful leaving an indebted country to our children . You and hubby should be so proud .
