All I am seeing is that increased US production will blow the current price of oil out of the water. With low prices will oil companies have the incentive to go after more oil? And then there is the coming green energy revolution. As more and more solar and wind installations come on stream the demand will be even lower. The US might have oil dominance, but will anyone really care?

Wind and solar will achieve dick until oil and gas a coal are depleted, which will be in about...never.

Right.

Higher supply in the US means the price will go down just like it does when OPEC pumps out more than they should. Driving the price down is bad for exporters of oil, like Alberta.
