Ouch. :lol:Everybody loses in a landslide. Just ask California.

Well of course, he's a hard core left-winger and as we all know, when leftists lose elections it's a clear cut case of democracy being broken and when they win elections, it's because democracy is working just fine. But what can you expect, extremists don't really get democracy. And if Trump gets the majority of the popular vote but Biden wins the EC, Hoid will defend it to the death.

I call it "outcome-determinative." Their approval or disapproval of a system or measure depends entirely on whether or not it produces an outcome they like.Well of course, he's a hard core left-winger and as we all know, when leftists lose elections it's a clear cut case of democracy being broken and when they win elections, it's because democracy is working just fine. You do understand that this is a plurality system, right? I was okay with the Conservatives' 39.6% majority and I was okay with Liberals' 39.5% majority. In both cases the popular vote was also won.I see, so you’re okay with the Libs winning a majority with less than 40% of the vote.
Noted.

What was funny was listening to all the leftards whining that 39.6% was NOT a majority when it was a Conservative govt but 39.5% was a clear cut landslide majority govt when it was the Liberals who won.
Same in Ontario. Ford took 40% of the vote and the leftards screamed that 40% isn't a majority and that he doesn't speak for all Ontarians. And yet at no point in 15 years did the Liberal govt of Ontario ever garner 40% of the vote. In fact, over the last 40 years the only Premiers/govts to have won more seats in Ontario than Ford was Peterson in 1987 and Mike Harris in 1995. (Peterson won a whopping 95 seats in 1987 but we all know what happened to him).
Clearly it's the leftists that have a problem with democracy.
Thank you for recognizing that, despite our posting history. I like your definition too. It's perfect.I call it "outcome-determinative." Their approval or disapproval of a system or measure depends entirely on whether or not it produces an outcome they like.
They believe in and are dedicated to nothing but their opinion of the moment. And they do not give two shits, no nor even one shit, how that outcome is achieved.
Such people are a fertile breeding ground for fascism.
And they are about evenly distributed between the poorly named, ill-defined, nearly nonsensical "right" and "left."
I'm going to give you a compliment here, Jin. Just wanted to warn you so you don't fall over from the shock.
You're not one of them.
Just making sure you understand that I can still hate the outcome of an election without crying that something's wrong with the system. The first two sentences were enough.

Albeit the last election is a bit of an anomaly. And I think it's utterly ridiculous that a govt that barely squeaked out a minority govt and couldn't even win the popular vote is currently acting like it's the ONLY game in town.
I have two questions for you. A) Do you support a gun ban in principle? B) Do you support the way Trudeau "passed" his own gun ban? A ban that is also racist I might add.
A tad??Agree about elections.
To be honest, I really don’t care about the gun ban either way. I would say banning legal guns ( sporting firearms, no WMD’s ) is a tad redundant while you have illegal guns pouring across the border.
Agreed.Agree about elections.

I dunno if he's of British heritage but it's what's known as 'British understatement'.A tad??
Hell, half the time I agree with you completely. And I know I like to rag on leftists and their existence in a fairy tale world of moral and emotional relativism, but the reality is, that's how all extremism works. It's how people justify their deplorable beliefs and actions. Much like religion.

And Hillary won in 2016 according to the polls .Losing in all battleground states lmao
'Brutal' new polls spell trouble for Trump in battleground states

Waaa still flogging that dead horse ?The polls predicted more Americans would vote for Hillary than for Trump.
She got 3 million more votes.
