I still oppose supply-management, but I find entertainment in watching the US pot calling the Canadian kettle black.
If we were smart, we'd milk the US for all it's worth. We should be complain about US taxpayers subsidizing our food?

How does that work anyway? Lower planting and harvesting costs as the money goes to the fertilizer companies and such or is the product bough and just dumped because there are no buyers for it.
Like the 6M dead in the Ukraine that died of starvation because the grain they grew was 'required' as a debt payment to the entity you mentioned. They also set the standard for what is done when an overthrow is in the works, lets hope the rules stay the same when they fall from the top.

It's just the Trumpette Cheerleaders™ showing their true colours now that they're having to open their wallets a wee bit wider than they're used to. The US is only into this trade war a few short months and they're already having to dole out the welfare cheques to farmers (other industries will have their hands out soon enough too).
