Trump supports Roy Moore's child molestation

Of the six special federal elections held in 2017 in which a Republican was running, the Republicans won five of the six.
This is why so many people never expected Roy Moore to lose in Alabama. The only thing Democrats are good at is losing and never learning any lessons from it.
This win will only reinforce the idea that Democrats have to just exist and people will vote against the horrible people the Republicans nominate. Obviously this isn't true though it seemed to work this one time in Alabama. In the long run, a little win like this won't help Democrats fix their broken party.

I'm sure Trump and Bannon are going to take it personally, since they put their own political capital and reps on the line.. in Trump's case against the recommendations of advisors, and on the basis of conscience.
It would be a mistake to think this was a referendum on a nationalism or populism or morality... OR Trump. This was a political cauldron battle which the Dems and the NE Media (CNN, NYT, Washington Post) post turned into one of the dirtiest political hatchet jobs in history. They outspent the Republicans 5 to 1.
The media simply took the oxygen out of the room in terms of discussion of real issues. They used ancient, unproven allegations to destroy the character of deeply religious and moral man.. and threw into office someone with the blood of millions of unborn infants on his hands as the 'ethical' alternative. Jones will be a consumate sycophant to Schumer and Pelosi and will not be a good public servant of Alabama. He'll be a totally conventional mediocrity.
There'll be ebbs and flows in bringing some sanity back to American politics. This was certainly in 'ebb' column of that ledger, but there's a lot more 'flow' to come.

First of all, deeply religious and moral? How do you know this? Is he a friend of yours? Is it because Donald Trump, a shining beacon of morality, has endorsed him?
These aren't unnamed sources.
These are woman who have come out publicly to accuse Mr. Moore.
Do you think it's a conspiracy? Like 911. Or a hoax like Sandy Hook?

On November 9, 2017, The Washington Post outlined an account of a woman, Leigh Corfman, who said that Moore initiated a sexual encounter with her in 1979, when she was 14 and he was 32 years old.[18] Corfman said that Moore met her and her mother in the hallway of the county courthouse, where Moore was working as an assistant district attorney, and offered to sit with Corfman while her mother went into a courtroom to testify.[18] Corfman said that during that discussion he asked for her phone number, which she gave him, they later went on two dates, for each date he picked her up in his car around the corner from her house and drove her to his house, and on the first date he "told her how pretty she was and kissed her". On a second date, Moore allegedly "took off her shirt and pants and removed his clothes ... touched her over her bra and underpants ... and guided her hand to touch him over his underwear".[18]
The alleged sexual contact between Moore and the 14 year old would be a felony under Alabama law, punishable by up to ten years in prison.[19][20] In a November 2017 Today Show interview, Corfman said she is proud that telling her story has encouraged others to do the same.[21][22]

This is 2017 Wally. Back in 09 the Republicans were somewhat conservative. Between Trump's left wing fiscal policy and the social conservative agenda, the electorate are turning their backs on the party. Hopefully, real conservatives like me (that want smaller government and fiscal responsibility) will be able to wrestle control of the party from fake conservatives like you (that embrace debt, government handouts, tarrifs and big government). We really need a conservative party on both sides of the border and social conservatives like you are doing more harm than good

good grief.. you're full of empty aphorisms, t-bones.
And these women had 40 years to present a case. Suddenly all this welled up like a toilet backing up. One admitted to lying about a year book inscription. They were all packaged, payed for and presented by Dem. operatives. You can't trust anything any one of them said. Memory alone fails over that period but in sheer political opportunism there is more than reasonable doubt about alternative motives.
At worst Moore was a reformed Ephebophilia (heterosexual attraction to teenage girls by adult males).. definitely not a 'pedophile'.. of long standing redemption. Nothing approached the level of sexual assault. That's if you believe these 'accusers' tracked down, scripted (by the likes of Gloria Allred) and paraded out by radically prejudiced media.
And Moore's record against the moral collapse of our times (on abortion, homosexuality, euthenasia.. amongst other things).. speaks to his courage to go against the amoral zeitgeist in which we are embroiled and against his own political ambitions.
