Everyone here talks about Trumps presidency and what goes on in Congress pertaining to Trump like he is our leader. I still don't understand how Obamacare and Trumps alternative pertains to Canadians...?

While on the other hand when something mildly relevant involving America and Canada like NAFTA comes along everyone seems to ignore it. Even when the CBC puts out articles about NAFTA they are mostly Trump themed and i seem to read more material from Canadian sources about what Americans think of NAFTA as compared to what Canadians think.

From here to the CBC comments section its all recycled, "Trumps and idiot" replies.

Example:

Canadian #1: Hello, good sir or madam, what do you think about NAFTA as a Canadian?
Canadian #2: Trumps an idiot

TRUMP! TRUMP! TRUMP!

Trudeau isn't getting any love these days no matter how many selfies he puts out now...

Just go ahead and officially turn us into another state and show them Puerto Ricans that Canada is at least better than them.

Trudeau...

The choice is simple Trudeau (brains) or Trump (sail boat fuel for brains)
Trudeau has brains? Trudeau's biggest accomplishment before this was being a part-time ski instructor and drama teacher. And as far as his current accomplishment, it's not really an accomplishment when it's your name that deserves all the credit. Trump on the other hand, owned or had controlling interest in over 500 companies with only 6 bankruptcies.
You could also tell that Trudeau wasn't going to take the job of PM seriously when he had one of the worst absentee rates in the history of the House of Commons when he was just an MP.
Trudeau has so many brains he's completely ignoring the growing fentanyl crisis because it's coming from China and China and him are bum buddies, or at least he'd like to be.
To be quite blunt, I'd rather have a leader who tries, even if he ends up failing than have a leader who doesn't give flying f*ck about his country or its people (except for the tiny minority who belong to a particular religious persuasion).

So, you don't think Canadians should talk about Trump or US politics? Then I guess we can delete that whole section of the forum.

Trudeau - a really pleasant, affable liar.

Trump - a really ugly, nasty liar.

Both pulled the wool over the sheeples' eyes. One hugged you before he screwed you, the other grabbed your crotch with a vise like grip before he corn holed you. It appears that Trumpsters prefer the latter.

Its not that i don't think that Canadians shouldn't talk about Trump or US politics at all, its just that how come Canadians don't talk about Trudeau and Canada with the same amount of zeal as Canadians do about Trump and America?

It seems that Canadian interest in Canada and Trudeau is more cyclical whereas Canadian interest in Trump and America is way more constant...

Are our countries politics that boring?

So I'm presuming that with conversion rates, 623 Canadian days equals 180 days US?

You mean the fact that Trump is such an obvious embarrassment so early into his tenure while Trudeau was enjoying an extended honeymoon at that point?

Also, nobody actually believes your ridiculous characterizations of Trudeau.
