Right, because Turkey is a major exporter of steel and aluminum. I expect he'll slap a similar tariff on Zimbabwe next.

Yet another subject you have no clue about.
THe RTA smelter in Kitamat world sourced products. The pots, which are just steel plate fabrication all came from Brahain. We get oil filters made in Romania and Turkey. All things that can and should be made here. SO yeah putting tarrifs on goods from third world countries is good for the US economy.

Has Turkey done any nasty shit to innocents lately?

Do you ever watch the news? It must be nice to live in blissful ignorance.

So what you are saying is that I was absolutely right about Turkey. Next time try actually reading my post instead of jumping in with your own asinine interpretation.

With all the hype about a Turkey-America disagreement ...... The Prime Minister of Turkey has a daughter who is pregnant and he has sent her to the U.S. to have the baby and thus the new born child will have American citizenship.

So much for the charades on the world stage.

It is still worth matching the hyped headline to the reality.

Everybody needs a financial backer, the fake headline will be used by the US as the reason Turkey and Russia are getting closer. Russia dropped the produce restrictions so farmers in Turkey now have a market back that was closed a few years ago. (as long as it doesn't shut down any new Russian businesses)
All of that points to Turkey dropping any US relationship for one that includes Russia, China, India, Iran and Syria. The move is probably based on all of them will be growing while NATO associated countries will be tightening their belts even as the economy shrinks for lack of foreign customers with money.
