Gotta disagree with you there, RCS. I'm an advocate of way more death penalty. I figure if you've proven you're a waste of oxygen, no point in feeding and housing your worthless ass for forty-fifty years. Long ladder, short rope's my answer.

I've seen too many cases of wrongful conviction. While I don't like people like this and certainly think they are useless to society I think life without parole is far more fitting punishment.

I acknowledge that's a serious problem, but I think it's amenable to considerable improvement if we pursue the same harsh attitude toward lying, criminal cops, prosecutors, and judges as I support toward criminals.

I'd propose making "judicial murder" a death penalty offense.

Seems to me the answer is to speed up the death penalty process. And simplify it.

We could always give the corresponding responsibility and authority to the cops. Deal with the whole shebang right at the scene of the crime
