I would support us being there to help but not to reform! That just futile. Here's something else. Why are people in here so snooty???? My goodness. People can't have an opinion unless it's the "right' opinion. That's so BS!!

That's part of the reason why i stopped coming here in the first place. Now, a couple of months later, it seems people have just gotten worse!!

I don't understand. Why can't people just repect other people?

What gives you the idea we are their to reform?....We removed a government....reforming would be keeping the government and makeing them change their ways. If you mean reform Afganistan, They want reform. They dont want to be known as the opium den of the world, and they dont want to be known as the human rights worst known country. We are helping them reform to what they aspire to be, we arent forcing anything on them they dont want. Just things the Taliban dont want.

That's a somewhat truncated view if I might interject. The same could be said for East Timor, the Sudan, hell even Nicaragua...

Haiti's been left in a hell of a mess since the United States first meddled there back seventy some years ago and that was all about big sugar...and much of what goes on in the Carribbean is still about big sugar but the anxiety over drugs and oil has occluded that of course...
