This was news during the first months of Harper's first mandate.

This is talking "ridings" not all Canadians. As long as Canadians are benefiting, does it really matter? If the Libs or the NDP were at the helm, it would probably be their ridings that would benefit. So for now, let it be Conservative ridings because next time around - the others will get their due.
Yep. There hasn't been one PM yet that hasn't steered favoritism towards ridings that favored the gov't.
This has to do with the stimulus package money, and if you remember the Tories were saying, there was no recession. This government is using their logo on the

market down turn coming and they will be in power to take the blame.

deficit of 1 trillion dollars and someone says things are getting better. Actually
things are going to get a lot worse because the impact of the American slide have
