Does the one preparing the food have covid-19??

Even touching the packaging, transfer is possible.

No thanks..

Home cooked meals are great, and you loose weight and more healthy..

.. and you want to stay as healthy and strong in this time and age.

We’ve ordered in more now than we have in the last year. Supporting local restaurants.

Good , how do you know the chef or driver aren’t infected ? It sounds like you are sceptical of the viruses spread .

Home cooked meals are great

Almost 100% of objects and food items were touched by somebody. Home cooked what? Vegetables and other items from grocery store? Those items were touched by grocery store workers. So, what is the difference.

Aside from the packaging cooking will kill virus'.Wear gloves when preparing food and throw them away afterwards. WASH your hands.

I buy everything I need at costco.

Most of the food is left in the pantry for many days before we ever touch it.

The perishables are wiped down with disinfectant prior to going in the fridge.

The difference is that human beings are smart enough to deal with many sorts of threats including biohazard.

The virus dies within a few hours or 72 hours, depending on which surface it is.

For Example,

Cardboard: On cardboard, the virus responsible for causing COVID-19 had a lifespan of about 24 hours.

Copper: The novel coronavirus was able to live on a copper surface for up to 4 hours. Copper is known to be a natural antimicrobial with disinfecting properties.

Plastic: The novel coronavirus was discovered on plastic up to 72 hours after being applied.

Stainless Steel: The strain of the virus responsible for causing COVID-19 was detected up to 72 hours after being applied to a stainless steel surface.
