Bush just announced a plan like that, mirrors in space and more dust in the atmosphere.

Or things like asthma and what about the people who live underneath the mirrors?

theories such as this are possibly viable. for instance the dust can be of forms which are harmless (in theory) or placed in the upper atmosphere where they cannot reach us, and mirrors needn't be 100% reflective, they may be more like filters. BUT having said that i wouldn't rely on them. Much better to do something effective now. like reduce emissions. easier in the long run

If we could find away to harness all this hypocracy, we could not only prevent further damage to the environment, we could likely wipe out all our energy concerns.

Dion in his answer to his ineffectiveness on the enviroment said that he could not get anything done because of the conservatives and ,...............George Bush. Yes the hated americans, kept the libs from doing thier job. What a crock.

For God's sake, read what has been written. There has been a lot of hyperbole but no hypocracy as far as I can see.

I do not just base my opinions on what is at hand juan, I have peripheral vision. I can read. This is not the first time I have read your posts or several of the other cast members, for that matter. Perhaps I based my opinion on the content of this thread, on what has been said or not said, in others.

Ontario, Sadly
Seems a bit silly and stupid to go after Dion, since Dion has never been in power as leader. Sounds like the tories are running scared.

The liberals made an art form of defining the opposition before they could define themselves. The right wing has a hidden agenda - that worked for years. They supported two-tier health care OMG. Now the shoe is on the other foot. You can say alot about the conservatives but they aren't stupid. If the Liberals want to fight the next election on the environment then the cons will paint themselves green and paint the Liberals as naive time wasters.

Doesn't matter if it's the truth or not, whether the Liberals had a chance to do anything on the environment or not. Every time Dion asks a question about the environment the answer is gonna be 'Stephane, what exactly did you do about it? You didn't get it done.'
