That's so nice, love to see kids learn sports. when it comes from their hearts, and it is
their passion, anything is possible.
Reminds me of when I used to take my grandson to the range, at about 5 years old, well,
now he is 17, and just started University of Louiesville on a golf scholarship, and the
time between 5 yrs old and now is amazing, the dedication and love and hard work he put
into his game, and the hundreds of tournaments, and he golfed all over Canada and many
parts of the U.S. as well, and ended up #3 junior golfer in Canada. A couple of years ago he won the
Storrie Creek Tournament, and his Dad won the net side of it, they went home that day
with lots of 'stuff'.
You know, if anyone has a little girl who 'just' loves
to play golf, and seems to have a aptitude
for it, take them, because the scholarships for girls are 'many', but the golfers are few in
Canada, and many scholarships are just sent back cause they can't be filled.
I know a few girls who came up through the ranks, when my grandson did, and they are now in universities
in the u.s. on full scholarships.
I tried it with my oldest grandaughter, she definitely had the ability, but she hated it,
and our outings were few, and she developed little aches and pains, that made her
have to call it off for that day.;-) and the next, and the next, but I just wanted to
let her have the chance to 'either like it, or not', didn't take long to figure that out.
Hope your sweet little girl gets the 'passion', cause sports for kids is so healthy, and
takes their minds completely away from anything negative on the streets, or wherever.
They just become so busy, and between sports and school they have lots to do.
