The carbon tax won't last past Justin's one term.

We'll need to look south, to the Trump Administration's withdrawal from the idiotic Climate Treaties.. to remove this immense and futile burden of Canadian industry and prosperity.. for an utterly fictional 'threat'.. a political and philosophical con job in AGW.

Justin's too stupid to see it, too credulous to beat an independent path for Canada... but he'll be relegated to the graveyard of political history by fast moving events in the world.

Cleaning up the environment is an admirably ideology, nothing more. It's a money grab.
The fact is, as long as we continue our love affair with big vehicles, conveniences and luxuries, global travel, and our lifestyles in general, the environment will continue to be filthy.


All of the 'environmental friendly' geegaws on the market and 'organic foods' that cost more than the average family can afford are just window dressing.


It's all a 'feel good' movement but does nothing substantial to clean up the environment.

But there is a tragic diffence between this.. which involves a complex system of tradeoffs between economic neccessity and ecological custodianship.. and the radical environmental cult that now controls 'environmentalism' (of which AGW is now its primary totem).. with its vicious ideology that posits humans and human industry as a pestilence on pristine eco utopia. What environmental responsibility that has great merit, specifically are you talking about?
People (that I knew) were much more environmentally responsible before the growth in urbanization in much more effective ways.
I don't see how people CAN be environmentally responsible now regardless of how much they would like to be. Society isn't geared for environmental responsibility.
