I can pick and choose the credibility of the participants which means more to a consensus than agreement.

Of course you can petros.

And you can also list all of the participants and culminate what percentage of the total are 'illegitimate' to try and discredit the consensus.

But you haven't done that anywhere, so the consensus in both cases still stands.
