The Quran agrees with the Ten Commandments and with many of the statements of the Bible, but has many differences from that.

Many tales in the Quran are not present in the Bible, and a large number of the ayat give much knowledge about the Next Life: the description of Paradise in heaven and of Hell.

The Quran came to correct many mistakes and distortions which afflicted the Bible: the Torah and the Gospel, which harmed the basics of the original belief about the pure monotheism.

1-The story of the cow of the Children of Israel

Concerning the crime and the unknown murderer:

One of the Children of Israel, a rich man, was killed for his wealth, and his killer was not known; so his family came to Moses and told him.

Moses prayed his Lord to acquaint him about the killer, and God – be glorified – said: "Sacrifice a cow, and then smite the slain with some of its meat or with one of its organs, then the killer will be revived, so ask him about his killer and he will tell you."

Prophet Moses then returned to his people and told them about that. But because reviving the dead was very strange to them, they started to ask about the cow, and which cow they should sacrifice: some of them said: We will sacrifice an old cow, and others said: No, we should sacrifice a young one. Then all of them decided to ask Moses about that.

"The story of the slain and the heifer, mentioned in the Quran, was written in the Torah; but when Nabuchodonosor attacked Palestine and tore up the Torah, the story of the slain and the heifer was lost together with it;

the only statement remained is the statement about the slain whose killer is unknown; which is in the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 21."

==============================================================

So this is a story in the Quran, but it is lost from the Torah, but its statement remained in the Torah, the Book of Deuteronomy, chapter 21.

While it is cited in details in the Quran 2: 67-73, which mean:
(67. And [remember] when Moses said to his people, 'God commands you to sacrifice a cow.'
They said, 'Do you take us in mockery?'
Said [Moses], 'I seek refuge with God from being one of the ignorant [who mock others.]'

68. They said: "Pray your Lord for our behalf that He make clear to us what [cow] she is."
[Moses] answered: "[God] says: she is a cow neither 'too old' nor 'young that gave birth once only':
[she is] 'of an intermediate age' between these [two conditions: i.e. she gave birth twice or thrice];
so do the [sacrificing of the cow] as you are commanded."

[Then they started to ask about its color:]
69. They said: 'Pray your Lord for our behalf that He make clear to us of what color she is.'
[Moses] answered: "[God] says: She is a yellow cow, intensely-yellow in color. She delights beholders."

[Then they started to ask about the service of that cow: was she subjected in service or did she only graze?]
70. They said: "Pray your Lord for our behalf that He make clear to us what [cow] she is; for – to us – cows appear much alike [so that we don't know which cow we should sacrifice];
Then we, if God wills, shall recognize [the cow, when God will define it to us.]"

71. [Moses] said: "[God] says: She is a cow not quickly walking; she ploughs the earth but waters not the plant; intact with no blemish on her."
They said: "You have now brought the truth."
So they sacrificed her, and were about not to do [that.]

72. And [remember] that you had killed a man, and started averting [the accusation from yourselves], but God was going to disclose the [truth about the killing] which you were hiding.

73. Then We said, "Strike the [victim] with part of the [cow.]"
[So as has He revived this slain], thus God brings the dead to life, and show to you [some of] His signs,
that haply you may use your minds [and don't be just imitators of others.]

2- The story of the angels with Prophet and King David:

David committed a mistake by sending Uriah to battle so that he might be killed and then to marry his widow after the lapsing of the 'idda' or the required interim.

So two angels came down from heaven and inquired David indirectly about a case, and he judged them (judging himself in fact.) So David knew that he made a mistake, and he asked God's forgiveness and repented.

In the Torah, Nathan the prophet came to David and blamed him for his act.

Therefore, the Quran here complements the Torah: the Torah tells about Nathan, and the Quran tells about the two angels:

Quran 38: 21-26, which means:
(21. And have you [Mohammed] received the tale of the [two] disputants d; when they scaled [the wall of Prophet David's] chamber, from over the arch?

22. When they entered upon David, and he was startled with fear of them; [because it was not the time of judgment], and they said:
"Fear not; [we are] two disputants –– one of us has injured the other; so judge between us justly and transgress not, but guide us to the mean
way."

[Then God – be glorified – told about the words of one of the two disputants, and He said:]
23. [One of the disputants said:] "This my brother has ninety-nine ewes, and I have [only] one. Yet he said: 'Give her into my charge', and he overcame me in [his] will."

24. [David] said [answering him]: "He has [undoubtedly] wronged you by demanding your [single] ewe [to add her] to his ewes; for many of the [shepherds] whose [ewes] mix with [the ewes of others] do transgress on each other, except those who believe and work righteous [deeds], and these are few."

[The two angels said then: "David has convicted himself of his fault", and they went up to heaven],
and David became certain that We had tried him [with his act], so he asked forgiveness of his Lord [concerning his guilt], and fell down bowing [in prayers] and turned [to God] repentant.

25. So We forgave him that [sin], and there is for him a high position before Us [in the Next Life] and a fair resort [in Paradise.]

26. [Then God said to David – by the tongue of Prophet Nathan:]
"O David, We have appointed you a ruler in the land to succeed [after Saul],
so judge people with justice [and transgress not on the right of any believer], and follow not [your] lust which let you miss the way of God;
for those, who miss the way of God, will have a severe punishment because they forgot the Day of Judgment."

These dirty Zionists like DaSleeper and BOOMer have now opposed the Quran, as had their fathers opposed the Christ and Moses before him.

In addition, the old Zionists opposed Prophet Moses and rebelled against him and against God's command:

Moreover, the old Zionists did every act of disobedience and idolatry, until God set their enemy against them to destroy them completely.

See this and more in the book (a small in size, and yet great in value) -- The Conflict between the Torah and the Quran

The old Zionists worshiped the idols:

Therefore, the old Zionists did every disobedience including the idolaty: worshiping the idol Baal, Astaroth, the gold calf statue in the time of Moses, the two gold calf statues made for them by Jeroboam following the death of Solomon.

The old Zionists killed the prophets of God:

So such blaspheming people who claim that they are chosen by God, and they worshiped the idols instead of worshiping God alone, and even they killed the prophets of God

God divorced Israel, and they are no longer 'the chosen people of God'.

Not surprising that Prophet and King David himself cursed them in his Psalms

Jesus Christ also cursed them in his Gospel:

Therefore, it is for this reason that Shylock has become the example of evil and rancor, and all mankind know who are the most wicked men living on earth: they are the Zionists of Tel Aviv and their allies.

Yes yes and yes, but your use of a flintlock against an AK will not yeild positive results. Why not use a contemporary update of your philosophy and thereby gain whatever it is you want, perhaps. Most of the members here are non herdsmen have no goats or cattle and have never turned sod nor planted seed. They are nice old stories but they require to much translation into the near now.

The Quran interpretation is contemporary and recent; it is for the goat shepherd as is it for the learned and educated.
The Quran teachings surpasses their limited knowledge (of which they boast) now and in the future also.
