The Queen has met with crew on board HMS Queen Elizabeth to wish them well as they prepare for the aircraft carrier's first operational deployment.

Her Royal Highness was welcomed on board the ship at Portsmouth Naval Base by commanding officer Captain Angus Essenhigh, and Commodore Stephen Moorhouse, commander of the UK Carrier Strike Group (CSG).

The Queen was briefed on the ship’s 28-week deployment speaking with some of the 1,700 personnel on board the carrier which include Royal Navy sailors, Royal Air Force airmen and women, Royal Marines, and 250 United States personnel. Report by Louis Etemadi.

The Queen visits... ...a head...

So I wonder, when she visits a head on a navy ship is there one for her specially or does she just use the same one as the lower ranked bilge rats do?
:)

She's got her own toilet on Royal tours that nobody else is allowed to use.

The first RN/RAF F-35B fighter jet has landed on HMS Prince of Wales. A number of Apache helicopter gunships are already onboard the carrier.
