Good points, Left Coast. We can likely toss in GM crops in the developing world as well. The whole idea of the terminator seed should be declared a crime against humanity.

did "they" do this testing on Bush????

I don't he would have qualified as bveing smart enough to take the tests.

from various ...and reliable sources......it is evident he did not do all that great at University either. He drank and partied his way through and it seems his final passing marks .....may have been "altered" due to the family contributions to the same university. Plus , of course, he had "the bush name" which by then was getting to be notorious. (and wealthy)

Credibility/ethical standards have not been all that important to him. Status, power, influence and money has.

He might still be an "active" drunk......if Laura had not threatened to leave him. So he switched addictions from booze/drugs to religion.

the chap has a lot of problems (character issues) and taking responsibility in a mature way.....is not his strong suit.

He seems to operate by the "code" of

"If you can't beat them with brains.....you baffle them with BS."

Will you stop with all the BS. it's getting old, like 3 years ago.

He's in and nothing you post can change that.

Only shallow people dwell in the past. Look to the future, it's not too bright for your type but there is hope maybe in 10 years or so.

and looking to the future is exactly what most of us are doing. Many of us are very perplexed at how a reasonably intelligent nation can continue to support someone with such inadequate "credentials". But , heck .......if you is happy with the bloke........so be it. But if he continues to meddle on the rest of this planet and in places he has no business..... well, you can look forward to a long future of criticism of him and the US in general. If this is a comfortable situation for ya .......so be it.

Ya see, what he does IN the US is the US business.......but seeing as how he is all over the map of this planet......that makes it EVERYONE's business. All you or the likes of you have to do is reign him in so he is focussed in the US and on US issues........and the rest of the world will be patient until he leaves office......whenever the heck that might be.

No one wants to hear what he thinks of the Iran elections for eg. He just continues to stir up trouble......with each word he utters.

There are many regions on this earth that are in dire need of humanitarian attention. Why not do some good with all the wealth the US has and assist them to move forward. And don't bother to compare how much the US contributes with other nations........as most other nations are not as wealthy as the US.......so all you are doing is blowing your own horn for nothing.

Now, if you don't WANT to assist, then don't. But don't pretend to be a "caring " nation.

but one has to wonder if anyone taught him the basic addage of "live and LET LIVE". Killing is usually the mentality of terrorists, criminals, and other poorly evolved peoples who function on emotional reactions only.

the whole idea of "fight /fight back" is outdated in the modern world. Mankind is much more informed and aware now. ( as a general rule that is)

and the problems FOR Dubya are on the rise. as the "mood" sours and his "ratings" continue to drop. More troops are dying and many more Iraqis have been killed.

It is hard to count how many nations, agencies, laws , peoples have been "victimized" (militarily, verbally (abuse) and otherwise) by the US(G) since the onset of this "invasion"........actually since before. ---if one recalls the verbal abuse nations that did not go along with this insanity , took from the Bushzarro fanatics.

it boggles the mind.......to comprehend all the ugliness that has taken place.

I keep hearing about all this decrease in the approval ratings for w. I hope it's true. It would sure be great to live in a "blue" area where I could actually witness this anti-bush sentinment first hand. Unfortunately, I live in a "red" area where they worship that jerk. There're more bush stickers on cars now than there were during the election.

If Saddam hadn't invaded Kuwait, or if Kuwait had not of asked for American help, this wouldn't be an issue. Simple.

I'm originally from Syracuse. Many lawns there, front, back and side. Best thing about lawns in that you don't have to shovel 'em, but you still have to mow 'em the other few months out of the year.
