So you must little people. This is an adult forum. I am insulting not people who physically and mentally challenged. My avatar, on the other hand is expression, not an insult.

It is not that I bite. I just can't shut up. If anyone doesn't like my avatar, they can stick that little finger sticking out of it in their rear.

moghrabi: I wouldn't be all PC about insulting people while your avatar flips everyone off. Plus it's insulting to little people.

another "problem" with Da Prez might be that he has underestimated the fact , that the contemporary world is the information world. Most people on this planet WANT to KNOW .....and seek info. In previous "wars" the internet , and access to info was not as available .......so there is no excuse for not being as informed as possible. If one does not have a computer......just go to a library or internet cafe.

It has been reported several times that he doesn't even read the newspapers. (ok.......in this case....it might not be a bad thing as reading the US newspapers is not information seeking;-)

Most leaders.....including the Queen of England read many international newspapers as their morning routine. Global awareness is what it is all about ......particularly for those in leadership positions. Being restricted to one language (in this case bush language;-) in a leadership role is a disadvantage too.

just some random thoughts on this .

That's a very definite problem with Bush. His knowledge of the world is limited. He says that his aids tell him what he needs to know but they did tests on comprehension and retention a few years ago and found that both are highest when the material is read, not related verbally or seen on video.

No wonder he says and does so many stupid things...he's getting very selective information secondhand and not understanding or remembering it properly.

RE: The Problem With Duby

Share the latest "similar" 9/11 attack if you would in other countries.

1. Sudan - Darfur region: UN estimates 180,000 people have died in the last 18 months.

2. Iraq - an illegal foreign invasion and occupation has so far resulted in the deaths of 10,000 to 20,000 civilians as a direct result of the "shock and awe" campaign, 100,000+ civilians as a result of the subsequent insurgency and a projected 100,000 more deaths likely over the next 5 years as a result of lack of safe drinking water, lack of sanitation, lack of medicines, and from unexploded ordinance.

3. Africa: Millions are infected and dying from AIDS while the US still attempts to apply strict patent protection to drugs that could save the lives of millions. Agressive treatment of HIV infected mothers has been demonstrated to prevent the spread of AIDS to their children.

Compared to these, 911 is a trifle.
