As the peace keeping middle child who was always scampering around trying to maintain harmony between my hard headed older sister and my spoiled little brother, now raising my oldest who tries to run the house while my youngest whines and counts his toes, I totally buy birth order as a very strong influence. Not the be all and end all of course, but a very strong influence.
