The last word for tonight: you are a people following the falsehood, and seeing the truth but work contrary to it and insist on your falsehood.
The last word for this morning: You cross land and sea to make one convert, and you make them twofold more a child of hell than you are yourself. ~ If you believe a certain way, that's fine. However, others do not appreciate you cramming your belief down their throats. It is not accepted. Keep it to yourself.

but how do you know you are right? Those who follow blindly are always lead astray.

just keep paying your dues maybe you'll measure up some day

I have three children. I don't want them to be intimidated by me. I don't want them to ever have their spirit broken and paralyzed by fear. But I do hope they know I love them. And I hope they love me. And I know they do. They don't have to do anything to prove it either.

See how you lie to yourself
If one of your children kills his brother: what will you do?

but how do you know you are right? Those who follow blindly are always lead astray.

You only look with one eye; so who is the blindly astray?

So you don't know. How many eyes one has does not make them "see".

You hope your right but you have no proof, no evidence, no knowledge. You have only fear of death.

I have two questions for you. Not expecting an answer because I do not consider you to be intellectually honest. Yet there's a part of me that understands that your culture has developed your mind set . So I'll ask anyway. "How can you love someone you fear, and how can you fear someone you love".
The Stockholm Syndrome or something akin to it.

You have only fear of death.
and punishment. That's the problem with both the aggressive cults, Christianity and Islam. The axiom is "be good, or else".
With folks like you or me, we are good because that is just the way we are. No force needs to be applied.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone been overwhelmed by the sky? I can't say I have even been whelmed, let alone overwhelmed.

I have taken some pretty awesome pictures of the sunrise and sunsets.

it's one thing to be ignorant. All of us are ignorant about some things. It's quite another to be so wrapped up in your own insanity that you become a mindless robot. You do not have the abitlity to listen or comprehend anything other than your own psychosis. Good luck I'm done wasting time with the likes of you.

I was once. But it was stormy as hell and I was flying a little DHC-3 Otter. I was flying west and got caught up in a storm so bad the headwinds actually blew me backwards about 30 miles east of where I took off.
Those 2 hours I spent getting bounced around the sky by myself with no radio contact with the ground were probably the 2 most terrifying hours I ever endured. It was like being in a nightmare but you knew there was no waking up safe in bed with this one.

There's no talking to people like that. I know, I used to be one of them. I didn't like my religious beliefs being challenged. Probably because at an innate level, I knew it was senseless trying to convince people using the Bible(or any other religious texts) as proof because if they don't believe the Bible, then it's not really proof of anything to them.
It's like saying, "Here's proof that unicorns exist because someone painted this picture of one".

I looked and the jar of whatever that is and longed for a pork chop.
This stuff is pure nonsense and has no scientific base but then
science and religion have differing views one is designed for the
knowledge and truth the other is for the collection plate.

And you know, sadly it wasn't always that way.

not the skies so much, but while back packing in the mountains I have been nearly overwhelmed by the vista in front of me. Seeing the mountain tops laid out in front of me. It was like I could actually take a full lung full of air and hadn't realized before that I hadn't been able to.

I have a serious question for you Selfsame and I am honestly serious about this....

What are you going to do when your life ends and you find out there is no God? No dieties at all? Not an islamic god or a christian god or hindu god etc, etc? I mean really, what are you going to do when you come to realize you have lived a life without honor or integrity all because of some fantasy put forward as truth by some manipulative men who wish to control your mind?

I've seen lots of really cool things, too. But I have never been rendered speechless or anything by anything that nature has. lol

Well, I am sorry you reached that level of fright, but then it partially made you who you are. =) I'd say it was a good thing overall.

If that is the way things are then at his life's end he won't find ANYTHING out. lol

I saw the Grand Canyon a few weeks ago for the first time. I really could not describe it to you in a way that you could picture the expanse of it. I just stood there and looked. Had nothing to say.
