I will always be grateful to Mother Teresa because, the only time I met her, she said something so monumentally silly as to release me from all reverence for saints. She clasped my hand and looked up at me with her bright blue eyes, in which the sincerity was cranked up to 11, and said: "Please tell your readers ... that contraception murders love."

Mother Teresa was an idiot as well.
Church Of The Immaculate Bleeding Hamster

and how was she an idiot? Because she followed and believed in the Catholic doctorine of no contraception and no abortion?

Talk about old news.

Maybe foilerresearch should write a ground-breaking piece on how the earth revolves around the sun.

Mother Teresa was criticized for this when she was alive. Her reply was always that the money she was given went to helping the poorest people in the world.

I'm sure Michael Parenti is fat and happy.

Gee, I don't know Beav. One who killed 6 million Jews, another who lived in poverty living a life helping the poor, perhaps.

I thought you re-distributionist types wanted to help the poor.

And I thought you could smell snake oil from sixty leagues. However if you wish to defend that old serpent for whatever reason. How does one live in poverty while touring the mudball and floppin in fivestar digs? Hitler also killed atheists retards christians gypsys and gays and numerous farm animals lest we forget the less important victims.

I see.....and of course anti-abortionsts are all idiots?
No not necessarily, that would be a broad generalization condemning those who exhibit idiocy in just the area of abortion, they may be very capable service employees able to contribute to society at a reduced level otherwise. We shouldn't be to quick to forget that great things can be accomplished in many small steps even by those thought of broadly as idiots.

How many anti-abortionists does it take to change an energy efficient light-bulb?
Answer ------100, one to hold the energy efficient light-bulb (same as jezziss uses) and 99 to turn the tent arround in a CW(christwise) direction.

Afirmative, abortion is safe and accepted birth control.

Really......... birth control eh....... so you are from the school that believes that personal responsibility for ones actions is unnecessary. SO much easier to murder your mistakes than to ensure you don't make them in the first place. More "it's all about me and the hell with anyone else" I see.

Getting a safe abortion is the ultimate exercise of responsibility for many women. The fetus belongs to the mother, it is her responsibility and hers alone what she decides to do and if that's abortion you have no say whatever none. Your imposition of moral superiority carries no weight in the real world, none. Abortion is natural for our species, to keep a child that you do not want is abhorant and deviant. Do you consider the use of contraceptives to be responsible? Do you consider the baring of sperm from it's intented navigation responsible or not? Do you consider sex education responsible? What rights are more important, the mothers or the fetuses? From the standpoint of the mother it is all about her and nobody elses business.

I guess that what really matters isn't results but the ideological purity of those supposedly caring and helping. But we always knew that, didn't we? ;-)

You could probably jump into bed now with the Right over "the fraud that is the Nobel Peace Prize", a la Al Gore, Beav.

Thank-you for your timely handsome reply cousin. Fraud, Nobel Peace Prize & Al Gore yes that's a proper sentence I think, and it's correct as well. I'm tired of crapping on Mudder Tee I need a new defenceless cadaver.

So much easier for you to support the murder of a baby by referring to that life as a "fetus" isn't it? Birth Control, sex education etc are all the proper and responsible steps to take. Killing an innocent life because of ones irresponsibility is not. Supporting the murder of those innocents is just as reprehensible.

And here you are dumping on a woman that dedicated her life to the sick and dying of India. You hypocritical piece of crap. SHE tried to save lives, while you support the killing of millions and justify it in your small little mind by implying that they are not human nor deserving of life.

You prove the need for good reliable abortion. The nun dedicated her crooked little life to fleecing pseudoluminaries like you. You can't fix or hide her history by attacking me, but if you enjoy it help yourself. I'm always willing to entertain the stunned.

I have yet to see you prove a damn thing you have accused her of. All you have done is spout empty rhetoric, proving how much of a sad, sick little man you are. Your comment about abrtion being used for birth control only reinforces that assesment. I doubt ANYONE on this forum that supports abortion, supports abortion used for birth control.

Bingo! I do support abortion but as a last resort.

darkbeaver I can see some of your points, truly I can. What I don't understand is why you would not respect the spirit of love and compassion within the woman you so quickly squash down.

Could there be truth there that she became lost in her church, there could. But you did not know the heart nor the soul of the woman you are so quick to condemn. Therefore how valid could your claim be?

Frankly I don't think it matters one iota what you think nor what I think. She is dead. Those she helped to live will revere her. IF money went asunder due to her, only she would know the guilt within her own heart.

Not for us to judge eh?

There is an interesting quote that goes like this:
We judge ourselves by our motives and others by their actions.
-Dwight Morrow
Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. We just do not know what lies in the heart of another, we merely demonstrate what lies within ours when we judge another.

No contemplation of good does not have a mirrorored image of the bad, beauty and the beast, black an white, up down blahblah etc. I do respect the spirt of love and compassion I just don't find it in a manufactured celebrity. The book, the cover,

What was a Romanian doing in India helping the needy when it required her to ignor the needy of Romainia? Lets give the old christian missionary thing a rest the only thing they ever brought to the poor was exploitation.

Well, duh.
You should have noticed that Christians are simply people like you?
Christians = People...
It shouldn't come as surprise. Instead, I expect my fellow pastor to take my money & spend it on his luxurious car. For this action, I will go to other church.
As Jesus said,
"Love you're enemy as you would love you're friend."
"turn you're other cheek if one hits you by one cheek."

Hard...but its what Ghandi did..
