Well Barnie Saunders figures that food lines are good too; wonder why he doesn't go to Venezuela. Ah, but he's wealthy socialist and wouldn't have to stand in line so he could care a less about the "average joe".

MSM hate to admit that despite glitches here and there, the economy is doing well and jobs are being created. (I KNOW - not being a Trump fan per sae, it surprised the hell out of me too!!).

So, I think, without any better choice on the horizon, I'd stick with Trump as he seems to be doing okay despite his idiotic tweets!

JMHO

And the Trump-sucking media hate to admit that the economy was improving steadily during the Obama administration, and that the performance of the first year of President Drunkuncle was just a continuation of the Obama period.

So it's pretty much alles egal, except for your adoration of Fox Breitbart and seething hatred of everything else.

Newsflash, D-Cup: Presidents can't do anything about the economy. If they could, they'd all make the economy great so they'd get re-elected.

Not too sure about that. For sure the Prez can influence business decisions regarding investment. Even in Canada premiers can have a significant influence on the economy. In BC in the 90s we had a lefty government that all but destroyed our provincial economy while the rest of North America was doing fine. And currently the Alberta leftys policies had a negative influence on resource development causing massive unemployment in non government sectors.

OK, try to follow the logic here. The number-one killer of re-election campaigns is the economy. If it was so obvious what the economy needed, and so easy to change things with an executive order or two, only someone even stupider and crazier than usual for a politician would fail to do it.

I understand that you believe that a system as massively complex and huge as a national economy works by simple rules you could write on an index card, and can be changed at whim. But it really don't work that way.
