Why are First Nations youths in Attawapiskat and other remote communities threatening to kill themselves in a country as wealthy and advanced as ours?

Teresa Kataquatit, 75, stands on the porch of her home which has been deemed not fit for human habitation in the northern Ontario First Nations reserve in Attawapiskat, Ont. (Nathan Denette)

Take off the plywood 1 sheet at a time and clean out the void and add some spacers so the wall will hold 6" of fiberglass insulation as that is mold resistant while some are not. The void behind the skirting can hold two large rubber bladders, one for fresh water and the other for sewage. Dry peat in leaf size plastic bags could fill the rest of the void so freezing could be avoided in the winter. If the wall had a vent to the roof and at the bottom the plywood could be made wind-proof and still allow moisture to escape. A dark color on the south could be used to collect a bit of solar heat even on a very cold day.
The ceiling needs some plastic wrap behind the tiles and they look like they should be dipped in some runny clay and hung out to dry before being put back up, one that cannot get wet. The stove needs some dryer hose coming from the void in the attic above the insulation and below the shingles to feed air to the stove and other things can be done to reduce the fuel needs.
The material that is laid down under a tile floor could be poured over the existing floor and a very thin layer could be used to bring a floor back to level and cement will slow a mouse down as well as being mold resistant.

Some very fine clay could probably work as long as the place could be closed during the curing process and made hot so it was close to being 'unglazed china' as possible while costing almost nothing.
The smaller TV should be a docking station for a phone running at 640x480 and that is her entertainment center, Vegas anyone??
How much so far and it has to be a place her grandson would invite some co-workers to, they can use the big TV.

Plumbing too. Old hand pump replica at the kitchen sink and the pole leads to the water tank below the floor, put a bladder above the bathroom so the shower gets the hottest water. 1 solar panel should run all that as well as kitchen choppers and slicers and squeezers, all at 12V

'If they wanted to' seems a bit like they and any supporters would seem to be from 'a lesser race' or something that makes them reject all the good advice you Jews have been handing out along with infectious blankets.

Your the only one calling FN a lesser race, I'm saying it is time to stop scamming the system and take charge like Chief Louie did in BC.

Each and every band can have this success with good management

Well if you can't turn a profit in Pentiction where could you turn one. Send her on a field-trip around Hudson Bay and then post her summation if you have so much respect for her. Do you think the Chief's wife who died of pneumonia when he was in a meeting with the Feds doesn't care about the health of everybody in the band.

Your statements sure reinforce the collective uses tokens to show that their system works whle the rest are despised and trying to be exterminated as quietly as possible.

Your Chief should be setting up smoke shops so Americans can come and get high now that BC bud it about $10/lb. That is 1 story, why are there not 100 more in BC alone or are the Indians just that determined to make their lives as rough as possible. BTW, think there are any unemployed Indian in Vancouver??

Do you think all the homeless residents in your pictured tent city are FN's people? Is it Canadian taxpayer's fault they are living there?

Downtown Vancouver, you know damn well there are.

You parade a reserve out as a moneymake that suts in the middle if BC's illegal grow op and you see no possiboloty of the two having anything in common. White hippies raking it all in??
https://www.fraserinstitute.org/article/marijuana-growth-bc
Marijuana cultivation can be found across Canada and British Columbia has been a particular locus of production. To give some idea of the scale of operations, in year 2000 there were 2,800 “busts” of marijuana grow operations in BC. If the police were able to find and demolish ten percent of all “grow ops” in the province, it suggests that there were 28,000 out there. Based on a little economic theory and modest data, I estimate there are about 17,000 -18,000 marijuana grow operations at this time. Since the average operation that was busted had 180 plants and each plant yields about 33 grams of usable marijuana dry, British Columbia’s commercial production is probably in the range of 400,000 kilograms (using the conservative assumption that there are 4 crops a year).

This is a lot of product and it is worth a lot of money although exactly how much depends in part on the units in which the crop is measured. A kilogram of marijuana may sell for as much as $5,000 wholesale. If these production estimates are reasonable, then the value of the BC crop is worth something like $2 billion at the wholesale level. Naturally, retail would sell for far more. Marijuana purchased for $15 by the gram makes a kilogram worth $15,000. Using these units would inflate the final value of the crop by a factor of three. How big is this? In 2000 the gross domestic product of British Columbia was roughly $130 billion, so that depending how you want to value local production, sales of marijuana output amounts to between 1.5 and 4.6 percent of the province’s GDP.

Since British Columbia is likely to consume only 30,000 or so kilograms, the rest is destined for markets in the US or the rest of Canada.

$5,980,000,000 @ 4.6% and the Indians never saw a dime??

When they are all that profitable then the task is complete. Make 1/1000 profitable means you don't have a fuking clue what you are doing in any area let alone being experts is all areas.

Somebody you looked up to forgot to show you how to find answers to questions. How much do you pay the guy who wipes your ass. Give me 4x that rate and I'll put you question into my list, at the bottom of my list. The link to their financials is on a thread already, pour over those numbers first, see you about 10 years, . . . or so.
