The life in the World and the afterlife

  • The life in the World is only very little in comparison to the next afterlife when man will live for millions of years and is not going to die once again.
This is in the Quran 23: 112-114

The explanation:
(He will say: "For how long have you [deniers of the Hereafter] tarried in the earth, by number of years?"

They will say: "We have tarried merely a day or part of a day, but inquire of those who count [the days and years.]"

He will say: "You have not tarried but a little, if you had only known [the truth.]")

  • The life of the World is so trivial in comparison to the next afterlife; it is only playing and pastime.
This is in the Quran 57: 20

The explanation:
([O people] know that the life of the World is but playing, diversion, adornment, boasting among you, and a rivalry in having more wealth and children;

It is as a rain whose vegetation delights the tillers, then [after draught] it is withered [by the wind], and you see it turning yellow, then it becomes broken fragment.

In the Hereafter there will be severe chastisement, and [there will be] forgiveness and good pleasure of God; surely the life of the World is but chattels of deception.)

  • In general the life in the World (where man lives with his material body) is only an opportunity to acquire good faith and good righteous work in preparation for the next afterlife where man will live for millions of years (with his ethereal soul without his material body.)
This is in the Quran 59: 18

The explanation:
(O believers, ward off God['s disobedience];

let every soul consider what [good work] it has forwarded for tomorrow [following death.]

And ward off [the disobedience of the messenger of] God;

[for] God is Most Aware of [all] that you do.)

  • So the Worldly life resembles a respite for man (until he reaches his appointment of death) then this respite will end, and no more chance for additional work reward may be given, so that man may be able to change his gain of the righteous work and moderate his evil work to some better work.
God – be glorified – said in the Quran 35: 37 about the associaters in Hell:

The explanation:
(And they [will] cry therein [saying:] "Our Lord, release us; we will do righteous [work], not [the evil] that we used to do."

[And it will be said to them:] "But did not We grant you a life long enough therein for him who would receive admonition? And [the prophet:] the warner came to you.

Now suffer [the torment], for wrong-doers have no helper.)

man-after-death.t35.com/1.htm#The_Hereafter_Is_Better_and_more_Enduring

The sad thing about this is that your life is hell but you think it will be better after you die. My life is great and you think it will be hell after I die.

So I get the great life and you get the hell life.

You think this because a paedophile told you so. you have no proof outside of his say so.

Based on that you turn what little life you do have into one long exercise in emotional flagellation and self deprivation.

I suppose the only good thing is that once dead the truth won't be revealed, you'll just be dead, i.e, switched off, like a television.

[Quoting Niflmir]What right have we to expect that a perfectly wise, good and powerful being will ever do better than he has done, and is doing?

This is an obvious fallacy and assertion. God's creation is perfect, as a creation;
but all creatures are limited in capabilities and talents, save God – be exalted – He is the Perfect and Infinite One.

As in the Quran 27: 88
The explanation:
(And you [man] see the mountains, and suppose them fixed [or stationary], while they pass like the passing of clouds – God's handwork, Who has perfected everything. He is All-Aware of the things you [people] do.)

And God – be glorified – said in the Quran 32: 7
The explanation:
([God] Who created all things well[-perfected] and started the creation of man [: Adam] out of mud.)

[Quoting Niflmir]The world is filled with imperfections. If it was made by an infinite being, what reason have we for saying that he will render it nearer perfect than it now is?

God is Perfect, the creature is defective; God is Independent, while the creature is dependent on his Creator.

As a creation, God's creation is excellent and perfect in the system and harmony and every detail, but still the creature is defective and depends on his Creator.

Things that they do not understand, they consider useless and vain, while it is not; the wisdom is there very obvious and everywhere around us.

[Quoting Niflmir]If the infinite "Father" allows a majority of his children to live in ignorance and wretchedness now, what evidence is there that he will ever improve their condition?

Although this expression of the "Father" may be a parable (He is like a spiritual father of the family), but God certainly is not our father, only He is our God, Master and Creator, and we are His servants.

God made some people rich and others poor in a way of trial of some of them by means of others, and then He ordered the poor to be upright and forbear; while He ordered the rich to be modest and to expend out of their wealth for the sake of God, to the poor.

This is in the Quran 36: 47
The explanation:
(And when it is said to them [by the believers]: "Expend in alms [to the poor and needy] out of that God bestowed on you", the unbelievers say to the believers: "Should we feed those that if God willed He would have fed; you only are in manifest error.")
-----------------------------------------------------
It means: they did not realize that God only tries some of them by means of others, to see how they will act and see their conduct and behavior towards each other, and their obedience and patience and gratitude.

[Quoting Niflmir]Will God have more power? Will he become more merciful? Will his love for his poor creatures increase? Can the conduct of infinite wisdom, power and love ever change? Is the infinite capable of any improvement whatever?

This includes some mixing of power with mercy with love …etc.

God is All-Powerful, Almighty, All-Wise and All-Merciful and All-Kind to all people including the atheist who wrote the original quoted words, but the disbeliever is ingrate.

However, God – be exalted – is Eternal and Unchangeable; His attributes do not alter from the eternity to the infinity.
As in the Quran 112: 2
The explanation:
("God is Eternal [and Unchangeable.]")

[Quoting Niflmir]…what is to become of those who die in infancy?
The little children, according to this philosophy, can never be developed.
They were so unfortunate as to escape the ennobling influences of pain and misery, and as a consequence, are doomed to an eternity of mental inferiority.

Are all people equal in everything? Take for example the intelligence: are all of them of the same level of intelligence?

So according to this claim: then the one with a lower intelligence (although not mentally defective); what's his fault and what's his crime?

Certainly it is impossible that all people will have the same level of intelligence; therefore, the variation is inevitable and it will be a demonstration of the might of the Creator, and people will then know, according to this variation, what the intelligence is; or else this thing will be unknown.

There are some persons with mental subnormality, others with hermaphrodite so that they may be some mediation between men and women.

Those who die in childhood will go to Paradise, to be with their parents: if their parents are righteous and monotheists; or will be in Paradise with the believers who will treat them like their parents. And all will be happy in that prosperity and grace of their Most Merciful Lord.

[Quoting Niflmir]… none are so unfortunate as the happy and we should envy only the suffering and distressed.
If evil is necessary to the development of man, in this life, how is it possible for the soul to improve in the perfect joy of Paradise?

Some suffering in this World mixed with happiness and the grace of God: all this is a matter of trial and experience in this life of the World.

While in the next afterlife, there will be no such trial and toiling.

As in the Quran 35: 34-35

The explanation:
(And they [people of Paradise] say [after they enter into Paradise]:

"Praise be to God Who has put grief away from us. Surely, our Lord is Most Forgiving, Most Thankful."

"Who, of His grace, has made us to dwell in the abode of everlasting, wherein no toil shall touch us, and there shall touch us no fatigue.")
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And when they will go to Paradise and prosper there and see themselves away from the fire of Hell, then they will cling to that condition and be satisfied and grateful to their Lord.

As in the Quran 18: 107-108

The explanation:
(Those who believe and work righteous [works]; there will be for them the Gardens of 'Paradise' :) 'the broken trees of the World.)

They will be dwelling therein forever, and they will desire no transmission therefrom.)

In one breath you say that this world is perfect, in the other you say that this world is imperfect so that people can be tested?

==========================

What would we think of a father, who should give a farm to his children, and before giving them possession should plant upon it thousands of deadly shrubs and vines; should stock it with ferocious beasts, and poisonous reptiles; should take pains to put a few swamps in the neighborhood to breed malaria; should so arrange matters, that the ground would occasionally open and swallow a few of his darlings, and besides all this, should establish a few volcanoes in the immediate vicinity, that might at any moment overwhelm his children with rivers of fire? Suppose that this father neglected to tell his children which of the plants were deadly; that the reptiles were poisonous; failed to say anything about the earthquakes, and kept the volcano business a profound secret; would we pronounce him angel or fiend?

And yet this is exactly what the orthodox God has done.

God creates perfectly; His creatures are in need of Him

[Quoting Niflmir]In one breath you say that this world is perfect, in the other you say that this world is imperfect so that people can be tested?

The process of the creation is perfect.

The creatures are not gods; they are created beings: defective in relation to God; but marvelous as a matter of the creative might of God – be glorified.

How can the creature be other than defective: limited in height, limited in power, limited in thinking …etc. And yet he has been supplied with various abilities like the thinking, the muscle power, etc.

Whatever he has, he will have other needs: if he can bear a weight of 50kg, he desires to have the ability to lift more.

See for example the solar system: how marvelous it is invented by God – be glorified – without seeing its example anywhere before:
The planets circles at certain calculated distances from the sun; they have the day and night and seasons and years of each planet. The atmospheres bear the cloud, the rain, etc. This is His perfection of His creation.

[Quoting Niflmir]What would we think of a father, who should give a farm to his children, and before giving them possession should plant upon it thousands of deadly shrubs and vines; should stock it with ferocious beasts, and poisonous reptiles; should take pains to put a few swamps in the neighborhood to breed malaria; should so arrange matters, that the ground would occasionally open and swallow a few of his darlings, and besides all this, should establish a few volcanoes in the immediate vicinity, that might at any moment overwhelm his children with rivers of fire? Suppose that this father neglected to tell his children which of the plants were deadly; that the reptiles were poisonous; failed to say anything about the earthquakes, and kept the volcano business a profound secret; would we pronounce him angel or fiend?

I here add and He should kill them all and make them die, and let their offspring live in their stead.

He knows some of his sons (although this is only a parable: in fact God is not their father and they are not His children); He knows some of his sons are evil-doers and others are good-doers; and He disciplines the evil-doer and rewards the good-doers.

If He lets them to be free to do evil and transgress on each other with their wickedness; is this logical? Then all of them will neglect and act wrongly: because they see the good-doer and the evil-doer are alike.

But He watches over them: the wrong-doer (He only knows their conscience), He will misguide so he will come as an associater or idolater → and so will be punished.
While the good-doer (He only knows their conscience), He will guide them to the monotheism and righteousness → and so will admit them to Paradise.

If He makes everything peace, safety, no insects, no scorpions, no snakes, no marshes for malaria, richness without poverty, easiness without difficulty, health without disease; then what is this? This is Paradise, not the life of the World. Moreover, where is the trial? Where is the free choice?

So His will is:
  • The material World → a trial period;
  • And the material body → a mould for forming the ethereal soul, and the ethereal structure of every material object.
  • The next afterlife or the spiritual world → the reward for this material World.
  • If all people (the wrong-doer and the good-doer) go to Paradise → Paradise will be corrupted, and the wrong-doer will blaspheme there in Paradise.
E.g. Satan (Iblies or Beelzebub) was a righteous genie in Paradise together with the angels; he worshipped God for thousands of years, then when he started to be lofty minded and proud over the angels → God expelled him from Paradise, as He said in the Quran 7: 13

The explanation:
([God] said [to Iblies]: "Then go down out of [Paradise]; because it is not for you to wax proud therein [over the angels and over Adam]; so go out, and be one of the humbled.")

You think this because a paedophile told you so. you have no proof outside of his say so.

Prophet Mohammed –salam be to him – was not any pedophile; he married his wives according to their will and delight, when they reached their puberty; such words that you - with your lies - insist on are only according to some fabricated traditions; nothing of that is in the Quran.

Anyone, that hurts the apostle (messenger) of God, will be punished with some painful punishment; as in the aya 9: 61
The explanation:
(And [in the Hereafter] there will be a painful punishment for those who hurt the messenger of God.)
  • It may be that God will shorten your life-span by ten years or more, according to His decree; because you adopt the anti- God attitude.

As He said in the Quran 35: 11
The explanation:
(Neither is the life-time of anyone increased nor is his life-time decreased, but is [written down] in a book [of his deeds]; that is [quite] easy to God.)
-----------------------------------------------
It means:
The man who is a monotheist, and work righteousness → then God will command His angels to write for him an increment of 10 or more or less years according to His pleasure.

While on the contrary, the one that is an enemy of God and His apostle, and moreover, he transgresses on the weak and oppresses other people; then God will command His angels to write for this one a decrease of some ten years or more or less according to His decree.
  • And then He will send for you the angel of death to expel your soul out of your body, and some slapping on the face and kicking on the back by the angels will let you awake from your confusion and discover the truth of your loss.
man-after-death.t35.com/#The_Angel_of_Death_

As God – be glorified – said in the Quran 8: 50
The explanation:
(If you [Mohammed] could only see [their condition] when the angels receive [the souls of] those who unbelieve [at their death; how] they smite their faces and their hider parts, [and say to them]: "Taste the chastisement of the Burning [Fire.]")

You maintain that this world is perfect, so you are the one saying it should be a paradise. You seem to believe that the cancers that swallow up people without remorse are the most perfect state of affairs. That the evils of humankind and the dangers of this world are necessary for perfection. If this world is perfect, your paradise can be no different than this world.

The mere idea of paradise is laughable. If your god is infinite and capable of making a perfect world, he would have made it. Why would he make something imperfect? So the almighty could improve? The fact that this world could have been made in much more favorable manner is proof that your god is either malevolent, indifferent, or nonexistent.

Yes. Try using it instead of just parroting that old book you're so fond of, you might notice some of the logical inconsistencies in your argument. Like this one: a perfect being makes a perfect creation and populates it with imperfect beings that he then brutally punishes for their imperfections, and in fact according to you deliberately leads some of them astray into that punishment. We have free will, you tell us, yet if we make the wrong choice, guided all the way by this perfect being (all things are as Allah wills, are they not?) we get to spend eternity having our skins roasted off every day and then regrowing them so they can be roasted off the next day, and the next, and the next... The Quran's full of horrific images like that about what happens to unbelievers. That's not free will, that's the worst kind of coercion.

That's not a perfect being running things either. That's a psychopath.

Here you have to define exactly what you understand by the word "perfection".

God is Perfect, not defective; while any other creature is certainly defective in relation to God.

E.g., if a man can lift up 50 kg., then he will desire to lift up 60, 70 or more.
Any creature is limited in weight, height, intellect, muscle power …etc.
What is meant by the word "perfection"?

If a car-manufacturing company makes a car with 2 engines; it may also manufacture a car with one engine according to its purpose and advantage; although, its manufacturing is perfect (according to the standard requirement) in both cases.

Now according to His wisdom, God created various forms of creatures and various levels of intelligence, muscle power, and other talents. There is variation and differences in every aspect of man's body and intellect. In no way can the low among them considered as defective concerning the creation.

The creation process takes place in a most perfect and wise way, and in the best way; yet all people are only some created beings, and all created beings – according to God's wisdom – are defective in some way or another.

None can do better than God can.

As in the Quran 31: 11
The explanation:
(Such is God's creation; show me then what others beside Him have created; –– but actually the wrong-doers are in obvious error.)

Moreover, God is not malevolent; on the contrary He is Most Gracious and He sent His envoys to people to warn them of the association with God and the idolatry.

God is never non-attentive; else, His creation will be corrupted.
And according to the aya 2: 255
The explanation:
(God! No god [to be worshipped] but He [alone], the Alive [Who dies not], the Disposer [in the affairs of the universe and creatures.]
Neither slumber [: the pre-sleep dizziness like that overtaking souls] nor sleep [like that overtaking the living people] can overtake Him.)

Nor is He non-existent; or else all the universe will disappear from existence, and the earth will escape the gravity of the sun and go away in the space.

As in the Quran 35: 41
The explanation:
(Surely, God holds the heavens and the earth [: the planets including the Earth] that they escape not [the gravitation of the sun],
and if they were to escape [the gravitation of the sun], no one else than He could hold them. He is Ever-Clement [and] Most Forgiving.)

Try using it instead of just parroting that old book you're so fond of, you might notice some of the logical inconsistencies in your argument.

You are not seeking after the truth; this has been obvious to me.
This is in the Quran 25: 33 about the Quran:
وَلَا يَأْتُونَكَ بِمَثَلٍ إِلَّا جِئْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَأَحْسَنَ تَفْسِيرًا
The explanation:
(And they bring you [Mohammed] no argument but We bring you [in the Quran] the true [answer as against it], and a better explanation [thereof.] )

a perfect being makes a perfect creation and populates it with imperfect beings that he then brutally punishes for their imperfections, and in fact according to you deliberately leads some of them astray into that punishment.

God the Perfect Being creates perfectly all the limited-ability creatures, and will not punish other than the wrong-doer; and He is never any wrong-doer.

He guides those who deserve the guidance being kind-hearted and modest, and He misguides those who deserve the misguidance being evil-doers and wrong-doers; as in the Quran 76: 31
The explanation:
(He will admit, into His mercy [: His Paradise], whomsoever He will [if that one is not a wrong-doer]; as for the wrong-doers, He has prepared for them a painful chastisement.)

That's not a perfect being running things either. That's a psychopath.

Glory be to God; He is the Most Merciful, Most Gracious; according to the first aya in the first chapter of the Quran:
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
The explanation:
( In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)

I've been there remember? Don't try and kid a kidder, however, it is possible you don't know your in hell. I certainly didn't for a long time.

Prophet Mohammed –salam be to him – was not any pedophile; he married his wives according to their will and delight, when they reached their puberty; such words that you - with your lies - insist on are only according to some fabricated traditions; nothing of that is in the Quran.

Anyone who has sex with a child (a ten year old girl) is a paedophile - end of story.

She probably went into puberty early (if the paedophile is to be believed) because he was already abusing her.

There is no indication whatsoever that atheists live shorter lives than religious nut jobs.

Therefore you god lies.

More evidence the paedophile lies:

Canadians average life expectancy 80-85

While Iran comes in at under 55!

So since the Islamic world has an average life span of 20-30 years less than Canadians and if what you say is true, then god loves Canada most.

Or the paedophile has lied yet again.

Either way it leaves Muslims looking like chumps.

Not necessarily, Scot Free. Maybe God loves Muslims so much that he takes them away to Heaven long before he takes non-Muslims away. He probably doesn’t like Canadian infidels (they believe in equal rights for everybody including women and homosexuals, horrors!) all that much. That is why he is reluctant to take Canadians away to his home, Heaven. He puts off the evil day as far as possible. So lower life expectancy of Muslim countries can actually be interpreted as blessings form God.

Personally, I could do without such blessings.

I was going off of the claims made by eanassir's quotes which make long life a sign of gods grace.

But I do agree that the longer Canadians can stay out of the clutches of a madman paedophile god the better.

You are not seeking after the truth; this has been obvious to me.
This is in the Quran 25: 33 about the Quran:
Wrong again. You can't legitimately cite the Quran as proof of itself, that's several kinds of logical fallacy. What's obvious to me is that you don't have the intellectual tools to recognize truth. You've simply accepted that the Quran is it and you lack the critical thinking skills to understand what's wrong with that.
God the Perfect Being creates perfectly all the limited-ability creatures, and will not punish other than the wrong-doer; and He is never any wrong-doer.
He also created the wrong-doers as wrong-doers. You went on to cite verses that indicate he deliberately misguides such people so that they'll stay wrong-doers, then he fries them for eternity for it. This is your merciful Allah? He's a psychopath.

Personally I don't think we need any gods at all, but a happy one is definitely to be preferred over the vindictive psychos favoured by the major monotheisms.
