My daughters ringing bells again this year. I was with the Sally Ally 13 years. I ran Angel Tree 4 years in a row. Yanno what? The ones we helped were not the most destitute. They had homes The ones that needed the help were on the street hiding from husbands that beat them or parents that molested them. See the point is........you cant help them all.

In my opinion,

Some just need a change of heart.. then we'll see where it goes from there...
But we best get started....or not.............

Is this a public forum, free from editing?

I seem to be having technical difficulties, but I was invited to join this new site by email, I must have misunderstood........

As I said, the world is watching..... and just maybe God as well..

I'll pray for them...

I'll pray you don't choose no heart...

Graham.

Sweetheart let me first adress your posts, they are indeed there and some times it just takes a few seconds to appear :) And sometimes we hit the "preview post " instead of Submit reply. Ive noticed the buttons are in reverse to most sites. That being said .....I'll be back with a reply :)

Im still not sure by what you mean by "no heart", Im going to assume you mean compassion. But in my opinion, sometimes doing nothing IS compassionate. For example, after being on the streets I noticed different kinds of people. Those that with a bit of help could/would step out of their situation and grow. Then there are those that if forced out of their situation will immediately go back to the streets the second it was possible. In this life I have learned one lesson well.........we ALL have our dramas that are included in our comfort zones. Some NEED drama to live. I do. Right now my drama is grief, and as long as I feel the pain I know Im alive. If the pain goes away before Im ready to deal with it I'll cease to exist. People live in drama. They need it. Now helping others is indeed a beautiful thing BUT to be able to discern the difference between real need and self importance is two different things. It takes a great deal of self awareness.

Well, I appreciate your concern, Thank You :) In my belief system we usually ask if someone if they need the energy sent their way. Luckily I can always use energy thats sent with pure intentions ;) Thank You

Im Pagan. :) I do a great deal of candle healing. Catholism liked the idea so much they "borrowed" the idea. In my belief we always ask before we assume someone needs our energy. I have a neice that Loves me dearly but has asked me not to light candles for her because shes christian and doesnt want my good wishes.

And, excuse me for my ignorance, would that not make you tied to the Catholic Church?

In my opinion,

we are very close to where the rubber hits the road and after my experience of last night, well, a lot of this depends on who you think I represent, doesn't it??

You have knocked..

Its really not my business is it. One thing I learned out on the streets is that we all have faces we keep public and others we keep private. I swore then Id never hide my true self. Problem is, my true self changes with every second. There's a book I Love...........The 4 agreements by Don Migaul Ruiz. Basically the whole book is about not taking anything personally. Ive spent the entire night doing just that. LOL Im not the best student.

Your premise on this thread is that its a shame there are poor. My thought is that you cant save them all because they dont want to be saved. Like my niece didnt want my blessings.

Actually, there is a Book I love, especially the version that was written after WWII......It has brought me to the awareness that I have at this moment...May have something to do with my family, that I don't know..

Shame is what some poor people feel, but it may not be of their own doing..I am talking about individuals the opportunity to choose---Free Will and the Opportunity to Pursue it...Compassion is what I have for you...But choices have to be made...Creation is not someone's playtoy....not anymore...

I stand by what I said and how I said it....It's a National Disgrace... for Canada...
