They're included, they just do not have to abide by the agreement for many years. When that time comes around they will just say...

"We are still developing... we want another 10 years to go unmolested."

China will just smile and nod as the East always does to the West.

Pundits will always attack the US over China because China could care less what the West thinks of them. You can bash them all you want and they will just smile and nod... smile and nod.

Thats not fun.

India and China's fuel emissions output is close to the U.S total I would say. Although dont expect it to stay that way, at the rate those two countries are growing. I still think everyone should of came on board for this thing to work. Although I still think we have to slowly adjust ourselves off our fossil fuel addiction without disrutping our economies. Seriously though, I dont see China changing at all, at the rate they ar growing and pumping out those coal burners, I dont expect any change for that country. Even if they said they would join in 2012, I wouldn't trust them.

Anyways though, me not being the typical "knee jerk conservative", I tend to support any policy that would help support the enviroment...but in a responsible manner not based on world wide mass hysteria resulting from news reports of geological disasters. I personally don't care what Rush Limbaugh says, I am almost certain that our release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere is having an impact...it doesn't take a chimpanzee to figure that out. I dont even listen to Rush Limbaugh..based on the fact he supports illegal immigration and doesn't believe that humans are contributing to global warming. He has a good point most of the times though.

Also, growing up with David Suzuki helped alot. Im actually going to see him in a lecture hes presenting at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco on April 27. I have never heard him speak in person and I believe it migh be my last chance to do so. And ughh, I dont look forward to bumping into all those Canadian liberals who populate San Francisco, Im going to be a needle in a haystack at that lecture, lol.

When the Americans are behaving themselves, the US is a good country to be next to. When they go on one of their periodic rampages, one wants to move as far away as possible. Right now is one of the bad times and the future does not look good.

Good, bad, or indifferent, America is writing history. 500 years from now, young people will read about America and will know its victories and its failures. Canada will get some small paragraph in the middle of their history books and will be noted as a sovereign nation that bordered America.

eaglesmack there are plenty of financial reports and shows in the states saying this its not crap its simple economics you can't keep spending more than you take in sooner or later the bank calls in its loans and the us loans arew just about due

Your country is failing. It is failing because the power of your leaders is built on lies and utter fallacy. People all around the world have had enough of your crap. That's why they keep electing socialists in South America, why there are over 1500 dead US soldiers in Iraq, and why half a million people took to the streets in Lebanon yesterday.

China and Japan have both recently balked at taking on more US debt, and economists in the EU are making decidedly unhappy sounds about the stability of your economy, Paco. How are you going to fund your armies when the credit gets cut off?

Economies ebb and flow. There are just as many optomistic reports about the US Economy as opposed to the negative. You just choose to read what suits your obsessive hate for America.

Believe me... the US will go on and on. You will be on your death bed and the United States will still be plugging along and being the best country in the world.

I had no idea it sucked so bad to being our little neighbors to the north.

Once we square away Iraq... I say we thumb our noses at the world.

The next Kosovo, the next Somalia... Call someone else...

Look at the facts and figures. Consider that all your current leader has done throughout his life is cause bankruptcies.

Economies ebb and flow. There are just as many optomistic reports about the US Economy as opposed to the negative.

The only optimistic ones are coming from the friends of Bush.

Believe me... the US will go on and on. You will be on your death bed and the United States will still be plugging along and being the best country in the world.

That would require it to be the best country in the world. It isn't.

See, those are called facts, smackhead....Georgie's bankruptcies, economic reports from around the planet, basic economic facts like not being able to live on credit indefinitely, international quality of life ratings.

We are way to powerful and have so much buying power.

this is an interesting read. my husband and i were talking about this situation - the us with their economy, etc., this morning. he had met last night with a good friend who is an economist, and has quite a few american business partners. euro dollar seems to be the push as far as he knows, once china goes to the euro dollar, the american economy will hit a depression. figures it will happen in about a year or so.
