Hovercraft suck at going up hills and are a death trap when you go down hills. Tesla had a black box with 2 antenna about 6 ft long and that is where his electric car got it's power from. Back home he has a 30,000KV GE generator running all weekend when he was testing the car. I'm thinking ig used about 100gallon/hour for the whole weekend and it only went 87 miles in all.

Sounds a lot like the early steam engines and internal combustion engines. They were real fuel gulpers as well.
